With Nick Saban staying on it essentially means that Alabama has the first GM of college football. Whether that's fundraising, recruiting or coordinating NIL It's forward thinking and game changer! Everyone should be afraid!

I thought NIL and the portal were the main reasons he got out.

Sounds like he's just a pair of headphones away from being head coach.

I read one of the posts on your board speculating whether Saban would help supply NIL with his own money if yall fall short. This Saban as GM stuff is some real secret sauce.

All is great in Tuscaloosa.

I just never seen Saban as the type to sit on the porch in his rocking chair sipping on a glass of sweet tea. I do not know how involved Saban will be with NIL and such I have a feeling not very much. I do think Saban will be fundraising and helping Deboer recruit.

If Saban sticks around in any significant way your new coach is fricked.

I’ve no idea how any coach would agree to letting his predecessor stick around with an office in the stadium in some ill-defined new role.

What a cluster. Eager to see the very many ways you Gumps have talked yourselves into thinking this is fantastic.
