One thing he said that I really liked today is that he will adapt his scheme to the personnel rather than adapt the personnel to the scheme.

I didn’t see anything wrong with it. It was obvious he was emotional and it’s hard to find the words to do something that’s hard even if it’s the right move. Hes been candid it was a hard decision and that Alabama might be the only place he’d have left Washington to come. People are giving him shite for not having a perfectly worded way to say something very difficult to say. I’m sure they’ve handled every emotional moment in their life pristinely

People demonizing him for making a career choice that absolutely makes sense for him to make are being ridiculous. Acting like he has no integrity or morals. Get out of here, that is the nature of climbing the ladder in the head coaching world in sports. You work hard, it pays off, you get noticed, and accept offers that further your coaching career.

It’s also not like he left mid-season. Hell, Saban took more flack for years by originally saying he wasn’t going to coach at Alabama and then changing his mind later.
I think DeBoer managed it as gracefully as one can, given the circumstances.

If you are talking about the CHAZ then I think it only lasted a few weeks. I used to laugh about people going to the CHAZ subreddit and thinking it was the official sub (it was used to laugh at the people there) to complain about the warlord dude being an a-hole.
