How Did LSU and Mizzou Become a Rant Rivalry?

I’ve been so confused for a good week now.
Is it just because we took their DC after they made a big deal out of signing him back a week or so prior?
Is it because we beat them in Columbia during one of their best years ever?
Sorry to break up the Bama Trolls but I’m genuinely curious where all this animosity is coming from?

BK has been basically taking whatever he wanted from Mizzou since he was hired.
They big mad.

Missouri refuses to play their only rival, therefore they poke any and all bears they can find hoping for something to start.. last month it was OU.. this month it is LSU.. next month it will be Arkansas.. rinse and repeat..
At the end of day, no one but Kansas gives two shits about Missouri, but they are too scared to play them..

LSU and Mizzou were linked this year.
Miz was LSU’s best win. If Mizzou won that game they would have been in playoff discussion.

Actually a lot of truth in that post. First time I may have ever agreed with a Longhorn. It feels awful.

I get all that. I actually used to find myself pulling for them and I think they have a hell of a coach.
Hell I used to really pull for them in basketball when I was a kid/teenager when Big Daddy Quinn was there snorting coke and fricking bitches.
But for the last few weeks…I’m starting to absolutely hate those Yankee Cocksuckers. And I don’t even know why. Oh well.

It’s 100% true, but they won’t acknowledge that..

We took their DC.
These two things then happened simultaneously: some of their fans on this site threw tantrums and started name calling while some of our fans on this site rubbed their noses in it and made fun of their program.

Correct Mizzou wanted to play all sports every year till forever. Kansas walked away from it because they were butt hurt.
The only teams not butt hurt were Texas and OU.

Oh it was going on long before that, several of their fans (mostly RamboMizzou and TrueLefty) spent all offseason guaranteeing that they'd beat LSU in October.

I'm still convinced this is a new batch of Serraneaux alters and he had to switch teams because we called out every one of his new Tennessee alters.

Lefty has a screw loose and has been obsessed with Brian Kelly for a while now. However, the number of participants in the smack talk grew with this DC thing.

People on here let a few vocal posters shape their opinion of the majority for both LSU and mizzou.
In general I like LSU. I think Blake baker will be happier in Louisiana with his family and is an immediate upgrade for them. I'm not upset or worried because Drink is great at hiring staff.
LSU was a fun game this year I attended and sat in 102 with their fans. They were great sports doing the MIZ ZOU chant with me since I was outnumbered in their section.

The most recent additions are alters 100%

Love those vibes. I hate Notre Dame but one of my favorite “away” experiences was wife and I sitting in the top deck at mid field for 2014 Music City Bowl in the Notre Dame Section with all of their recent college grads around our age. We even helped lift some ole girl up to do push ups every time they scored lol. Was all fun until fricking Brian Kelly beat us that day.

Wow.. this sounds like an actual, real life Missouri fan.. just running out in the wild.. not sure I’ve seen one of those here before.. are there others too?

Mizzoufan26 is for sure all Tennessee.
Weird guy, suffered a meltdown during the CWS.

LSU fans want to be us.
Why would we want to be a team that's only ever had middling success?
You have zero national titles, zero BCS appearances, zero SEC championships, Zero playoff appearances, zero Heismans.
The best you can do is win the east in a down year.
So why would we want to be you? Because we have everything you don't in droves.
