This is actually perfect for Bama. If he does really well they would sweep it under the rug. If he does shitty they would fire him with cause and not pay a buyout.

Kiffin isn't my first choice but the guy is a good coach. He was at UT one year. Took a Bama NC team to the wire at BDS. SoCal was dealing with sanctions while he was there but Kiffin still managed to win 10 games. His teams at OM have been inconsistent but dangerous.
