Yeah, I'm hoping my high school Alma Mater hires him here in a few years when LSU fires him

File this under things that won't happen like Tenn winning a baseball natty with the most talent.

Quit fricking around

I know y'all are trolling, but Kelly WOULD be a great hire.

Look at the 2022 hires:
LSU- Kelly
USC- Riley
Florida- Napier

Those were the big hires, and of the 3, Kelly is the most stable. He's mature (in his 60's), secure in his own decisions, and handles the spotlight without panicking.

Kelly- 2 consecutive 9-3 regular seasons, a big win over Bama year 1 to make the SEC Championship, just produced a Heisman despite not having a spectacular resume on offense before coming here. We're optimistic about next year, because despite a terrible defense he's made great hires to fix that, and despite losing the Heisman QB we're expecting Nussmeier to be a 300 yd/game passer.

Riley- big splash year 1, with a Heisman for the QB he stole from OU when he left. 7-5 year 2, some major cracks beginning to show.

Napier- too big a jump. Can't handle big-time SEC. Fla is collapsing.

What Bama needs IS someone like Kelly, somebody that can make it 5 years and keep the program from imploding like a supernova turning into a black hole.

You’d be 0-2 against him over the last two years without a cheap shot.

Then what does that make your coach for going 8-5 in 2022? Kelly also got an SECW title in his first year, something that Ole Miss hasn’t done since Adam was screwing Eve!

So has every LSU coach since Saban. That is average. He also got drummed and didn't win shite. Again, he is average. Orgeron has done more with less.
