How close we can get in an Uber from downtown?
Posted by GeauxATX on 11/15/25 at 8:58 am
Trying to get to the south side of the stadium.
Attending my first game in 3 years on Saturday - Help wanted!

Life has kept me away from Tiger Stadium for a few years but I’m bringing some buddies with me this weekend and want to show them a good time. One is an Arky alum, which is why we chose this weekend. Hoping TR can help me with a few questions…
-We’re staying at a hotel downtown, will I have issues getting to campus in the morning via Uber?
-Where are a few good areas to show them a lively tailgate scene? I know it’s a morning game, but assume people will still be out for the last home SEC game.
-What about after? I assume Walk On’s and Fred’s are still good. Some of them are Longhorns, so I’d like to find somewhere good to watch the rest of the slate and eventually the UT/UGA game.
Thanks in advance!

This is great! Thanks!
Where do the 30-something’s drink in BR?

Coming in for the Arky game with some friends who’ve never been to BR.
Been a while since I’ve gone out in BR, we’re all in our mid-30’s. Where should we go? Ideally with good drinks and music.

Here for the weekend, curious if there’s a local spot for Tiger fans to watch tonight.

Not in my mind. And I’m also just talking generally, regardless of what happens here.
Where does this pitching staff rank?

Gotta be one of our best in recent memory, right?
So much versatility and power in the pen along with 3 high quality starters.

Massive win for the program

I don’t know what will happen the remainder of the season, but after watching every single top 10 team play several weeks… both of those teams are playoff caliber this season.
Morning Thoughts —
- Thinking back to CBK pounding the table after USC, frustrated about “not finishing”… We finally take one late. So satisfying and exactly what the team needed.
- So impressed with Blake Baker and the significant improvement of the defense. Our line was nasty and the cornerbacks finally played like we’re used to seeing on the outside. Weeks has been a true leader on the field.
- Nuss was hot and cold but made some big time throws when we needed him. The game tying TD was pro level.
- Ramos is clutch.
I will keep my one complaint simple. If Nuss is simply not confident in his own ability to run, which very well just might be the case, then we have GOT to abandon the read option. Our backs are sitting ducks when everyone can sell out. Without a true running game, it’s going to be tough to get where we want to go.
All that said. So proud of the team for staying in a tough, physical, and just wild football game with way too many stoppages. Say what you want about CBK, but this win is a reflection of player development, plain and simple.
Everything still in front of us…

All-Time legendary Tiger performance. If we hold on, it will never be forgotten.
Love it for the senior. Showing up for his team when they needed him most.
My goodness.. Jones.

Appreciate the responses! Let’s Geaux on a nice run here.
Do we need to win the SEC tourney to get in the NCAA tourney?

Seeing bracket projections online, I’m assuming so… what say the Rant?
Agreed. We let that one slip away.
