I'm not. He's Ryan Williams' primary recruiter.

WRs haven’t been the best in recruiting since he’s come here

I imagine he's not been his primary recruiter for a little while. Just a hunch. Wiggins announced for a new job the day after the season ended for Alabama. This was a done deal. There was probably already communication about this to Saban and I imagine his WR coach replacement hire is not far away. This probably explains why Williams is shopping a bit.

He signed 4 of the best available in 2021 so that's a lie.

My only concern with this is obviously how it effects Ryan Williams. Otherwise I won’t lose any sleep. He was solid but I’m all about the end result…our WR production dropped as time went on under Wiggins.

Could have Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, and Marvin Harrison in their prime on the team but who’s going to find them open and get them the ball?

My opinion is Wiggins has not done well in eval and/or development while at Alabama. He inherited Juedy, Ruggs, Smith, and Waddle. Metchie was a commit that came in with him but it almost feels like Metchie grew due to the excellence surrounding him. Since Metchie and transfer Jameson Williams left, the group has been pedestrian. They weren't even good with Young, so spare me the "it's because the QB can't get em the ball" stuff.

Craig is not known as a great coach, he's another pure recruiter type. I don't think that is what Alabama needs right now. They've wasted 2 whole recruiting classes with Wiggins and need to salvage the 2022 and 2023 classes before they all end up at other schools too.

Jimbo Fisher owes Dameyune Craig some of that buyout money for hoodwinking Jaboo Winston into playing football at Florida State.

Saban can personally focus on getting Williams into the fold. Bama just got the #1 rated QB on campus. Ryan would be crazy to go anywhere else.

Wiggins was a pretty good recruiter but a mediocre coach. Since he’s been at Bama, the blocking by the WRs has usually been terrible and one thing that drove me crazy is when Bryce or Jalen were flushed from the pocket, most of the time, our WRs just stood around and wouldn’t come back to him as viable targets for the ball.

It used to be that at Bama, if you didn’t block well, you didn’t play much at WR.

Finally, how is it that we have all these 4-5 star WRs coming out of HS, and so few have flourished? I get it that recruiting is an inexact science but how can we seem to have so few difference makers at the position? It’s gotta at least in part due to development.
