That isn't how baseball works.

High School -> Pro
High School -> JUCO -> Pro
High School -> College (3 years, 2 if already 21) -> Pro

That's basketball. Baseball players are not draft eligible, after entering college, until after junior or third year.

The only thing that will make college sports truly amateur and student centered again is eliminating athletic scholarships. The sun will turn green before it happens, though.

That’s what it has come to! Let them be humbled or put up or shut up!

I SAY, have it performance driven & if injured, get a certain % of it.

OR

There’s a new “semi1pro league” the ROCK is behind called the “UFL” maybe??

but as it stands for NIL, college needs to have a cap with much more rules

and to be honest, they should have a certain % off the top of ALL NIL money to go back into each team that is equally divided by “the practice squad backups” who currently receive no NIL money.

These prima-Donna’s are too stupid to realize that they need practice teams to “get better” and compete.

And how is it fair if they have million dollar amateur contracts & common folk in the locker room are treated like peasants.

The entire system sucks!

Tons of money for everyone to benefit, but this is a double standard as it stands.

While we at it & are in this Obama Utopian society, let’s carve up all pro sport contract money & NIL & equally divide it with women’s sports athletes.

In their world, HOW FAIR IS THIS set-up???

So done with sports, it’s out of hand!
