On3's Team Transfer Portal Index utilizes the On3 (P)erformance score to measure a team’s production during the transfer process, compared relative against its roster and not a comparison against other schools. This proprietary algorithm determines if a school has improved its overall team talent, stayed the same, or declined in talent during the transfer window.

on3 Transfer Portal Ranking

1. Ole Miss
6. Kentucky $2.6 million
8. Mizzou $4.4 million
13. Arkansas $3.1 million
18. South Carolina $5.4 million
23. LSU $10 million (Lulz)
28. Auburn $5.5 million
36. Bama $16.6 million
40. Tennessee $10.4 million

While I agree that Ole Miss is trying to replicate the A&M model for recruiting championships, I don't think that's what the article is saying.

Does it also include the recent acquisition of Nolen?

You’re quoting total team NIL numbers.

I don't believe any of those numbers. Besides the portal is about filling needs. Apparently Ole Miss needed a lot.

Given that UK has lost 11 of the last 15 games against Ole Miss, this envious shite thread makes total sense

Nolen had to have cost $500,000.

Ole Miss has some wealthy donors.

Southern Mississippi is where all the money in that state is located.

Some nice casino’s too

Ole Miss has a better win percentage against Kentucky than they do against Vandy

Let that sink in

Those numbers are not what Collectives are spending. That's what On3 projects their NIL values to be, none of which are based on reality but are based on follower counts on social media.

Who tf is coming up with those numbers? I could grab numbers out of air and be just as accurate as that nonsense. I realize we're coming into a conference that truly doesn't understand the difference between bags and NIL deals, but media types should know better.

This isn’t the amount that Ole Miss is spending, it’s a rough estimate of the total NIL value of the entire roster. Ole Miss is ranked second in ON3’s transfer rankings despite adding the most talent because they had a reasonably talented team to begin with and Louisville’s roster was absolute dogshit. ON3’s ranking isn’t about overall quality of the class, but how much your roster talent has improved over the previous year.
