Yes it was necessary. You are what you are. As far as the rest goes I think we are better offensively than Maryland and they found some kinks in that armor.

They were not good enough at the end to pull it out. I think Alabama has better personnel and more weapons.

Was this really necessary? I’m not here to talk shite. Just football.

Assholes like him don't want to talk football, he just wants to say how unbeatable his team is. He's not interested in any legitimate discussion. His posts are proof of that.

Bama also has 2 really good receivers than stretch the field. Outside of MHJ, how many receivers has Michigan had to contend with? I say not very many. Mich will have to hit home with the pass rush on a QB like y’all haven’t seen this year.

Totally understand their receivers are good, but I'm not convinced you can give them the nod in this positional matchup! Wallace has really blossomed of late, and Will Johnson is a shutdown corner on the other side. He had a minor ankle injury, but should be just fine for the Rose Bowl. With Paige, Moore, and ball-hawk Sainristil standing tall back there, well, maybe it's a PUSH.

Let me just say this..if Milhoe isn't accurate, he can get in real trouble against this secondary, one in which prides itself on creating turnovers and giving QB's confusing looks. He better spin the ball tight, too...

This Michigan team is immensely more talented than that Michigan State team.

We'll see. Michigan played only 2 teams with a pulse this season: Ohio State and Penn State. Their SOS was #115. Bama was #5. IMHO, Michigan doesn't even deserve a playoff spot with their cupcake regular season schedule.

I honestly think Michigan beats Bama…thusly proving they didn’t belong.

So if what MIGHT be the best team in the country beats what MIGHT, even with that loss be the second best team, that means they didn’t belong. This is painfully stupid.

I like Michigan if they can make Milroe have to throw the ball and then, for the most part, keep him in the pocket. Easier said than done.

I think Milroe just turned into an unstoppable beast like most fricking bama QBs do unfortunately. Auburn could’ve stopped it. UGA obviously couldn’t. The flip pass up the middle as he was going to get sacked on 4th down. There’s no way to defend that. When he did that, I knew we were done. That’s Aaron Rodgers shite. He keeps eyes downfield. We brought pressure. He beat it. Good game Bama. Besides that shite non call reception lol. Rematch would’ve been nice, but committee knows how rematches between us in Nattys goes. This time they want Texas to beat y’all.

Saban isn't the type to run up the score. He will secure the victory but that will be his only concern. By then the controversy over Alabama getting in over FSU will have blown over, at least everywhere other than this board.

Yes, sir, it is! The 2023 Michigan defense

- #1 scoring defense (9.4 PPG)
- #2 total defense (239.2 YPG)
- #2 passing defense (152.6 YPG)
- #5 rushing defense (86.8 YPG)
- #4 rush yards per carry (2.91 YPC)
- #1 defensive TDs (5)
- #5 interceptions (16)
- #7 total turnovers (24)

Congrats for those stats vs those dynamic O's Mich has faced this year. Also there is a massive talent gap between the two teams

I truly think he tries to run up the score on them to make a statement.

Honest question, did people just black out the season outside of the SEC Championship? No one remembers BOTH Bama and UGA looking vulnerable and not dominant like they’ve been in the past?

Somehow we’ve returned to Bama and UGA being clearly better than everyone else out of no where.

This game is going to remind me of the game where Alabama played Michigan State a few years ago in a bowl - I think it was in Orlando - and it was actually becoming a very dangerous game for the Michigan State players. I was fearing for the safety of their players. It was that lopsided.

The 2010 Cap One Bowl. Kirk Cousins probably still has nightmares about Marcell Dareus.

I truly think they did. Both teams had the benefit of having all their tough games at home. Alabama’s SEC road opponents had a conference record of 11-21. Both struggled mightily against a team that got blown out by New Mexico State at home. Neither team was remotely dominant in any way compared to recent teams they have both had.
