SEC goes to 20 teams
and they break away from NCAA
8 divisions of 5 teams each
play your division (4)
play another division (5)
play perm (1)
play ooc (2)
win your division, make the playoffs
computers rank the 8 playoff teams

2 B1G vs 3 SEC
2 SEC vs 3 B1G
1 B1G vs 4 SEC
* starts 1st week of December
take humans out of the equation

How about frick the conferences? Just set up a 64 team league with full time National officials and a review booth nowhere near one of the major universities’ hometown.

Pretty cool out of the box thinking. I like it. This sounds a lot better than what we have now. Of course the main issue is you only have 40 teams. What about the other 80 or so teams?

I’d love that actually because then there would be some governance. In its current form, it’s the worst of CFB & NFL mashed together in a deformed mess.

How about we go back to not having playoffs and letting a poll decide the national champion.
