Well all jokes aside, that is legitimately 30 Titles with no polls involved at all. Impressive no doubt.

I had no idea that Auburn was clinging to the Big 6 so tenuously.

2 of the worst moves in the history of sports, GT and Tulane, both founding members of the SEC, leaving the league.

Texas will win one before A$M does.

That’s how a blue blood dominates.

I count 95 champions but 1933-2023 is 91 years. Your numbers are off.

I miss including The University of the South in this discussion. Let's go back before the SEC began to the 1899 team, maybe the best of them all.

30 in 91 years. One every 3 years.

Well it changed for LSU having an in-state SEC rival game. Even well into the 80's LSU and Tulane still played. There was a brawl in the 84 game when Bill Arnsparger was the LSUC coach (I was there).
In New Orleans, there was a string of bars in Uptown New Orleans that the losing team fans had to push the winning team fans in a Wheelbarrow and stop in bars along the way and buy the beer and about 1 hour in, the entire parade was drunk (both LSU and Tulane fans).

Not familiar with Bryant's extra SEC game every year, huh?

Prior to the SEC Championship game, the SEC awarded Co-Championships. I think 1 year in the 80's, 3 teams shared the title.

Sharing a division with bama the past few decades has been tough.
