Have to admit this is the first year I’m happy that no SEC team is in the playoff.

Yeah I know Texas, but seriously I didn’t want Georgia to go for 3 straight and well Bama winning it’s 100th or whatever.
Kinda feels like a reboot before the 12 team playoff starting next year.
Do I believe Bama or Georgia would win it again?
Yes.
But glad some new blood is in it at least and they can quiet down some.
Oh yeah and we will get the Heisman Trophy as a quality consolation prize for recruiting.
Season grade from me is a B- considering Defense was so bad.

As an LSU fan, it doesn’t do us any good to have other SEC teams in the playoff despite how many people try to push this SEC narrative like we are a brotherhood. The SEC isn’t in it for LSUs best interest. Never pull for a rival to win. Ever.

Yeah that SEC SEC SEC stuff was pretty cool 10-15 years ago but kinda over it this particular year.
Maybe as I get older I like to just see some other teams that haven’t won get a shot for some more equality across the game.
