I could be content with the SEC title and beating Georgia...but knowing the trash teams in the CFP, it's like losing a near automatic NC. Texas deserves to get in...but so do we.
They're going to include every conference... EXCEPT the SEC that has dominated the playoffs?

They pretty much set this up at the beginning of the season. No other team dropped as much as we did with a loss. Teams that lost after us were kept in front of us.

If they leave us out, the only thing we can do is embarrass them by blowing out our NY6 bowl opponent.

Texas beating Bama shouldn’t be the end of the discussion. If this same exact scenario played out but we lost to some other P5 team and not Texas then Bama would easily jump over the Longhorns…so now we’re not a top 4 team because you HAVE to keep Texas in front.
It’s disingenuous garbage. Head to head of course matters but it can’t trump everything. It was a non conf reg season game in week 2.
Texas is 7 and beat a barely ranked team. We beat no. 1. That should be enough to jump them.
We have a better resume in every aspect but that head to head in week 2 is all that matters…
If we are unequivocally better then it should trump head to head.

We kinda did that this year and looking at being #5 again. Last year was unfortunate but this year being left out is complete bullshite. FSU is TCU this year. And Michigan lost to that trash arse TCU last season. So this committee is consistent at being completely clueless and just worried about feelings, and true professionals at not getting it right

I’m just saying they’re both trash teams. Michigan is even worse because for one they lost to pathetic TCU last season and two they’re a known dirty program. But Michigan will be #1 overall today.

There is no question in my mind Alabama is better than Florida State right now. We are probably a better team than Texas right now. I am almost positive we are out. The committee can justify taking FSU and Texas and will. I understand the reasons for the Texas loss. I also admired our great play against Texas A&M, Tennessee, LSU and Georgia. I am puzzled at our play in the second half against Arkansas and the entire game against Auburn. It has been a great season for us.
