Height of Hypocrisy

Someone asked a couple of days ago about alcohol sales at the SEC CG. Generally speaking the SEC does not allow alcohol sales at the game, with the exception being some sections. This is, according to the SEC, done to maintain tradition in the SEC. Im calling BS. Since when, in the last few years anyway, has the SEC gave a tinkers damn for tradition? We have Missouri in the conference for fricks sake and are about to have Oklahoma and Baja Oklahoma. Tradition my arse. There are a bunch of reasons for alcohol not being sold at the game but tradition ain't one of them because we have no traditions in the conference any longer. Expansion has blown that boat right out the water....

They say it's about tradition, but it's really to keep Bama fans from reverting to factory settings: LINK

They want to maintain the tradition of being insufferable Baptists, not football culture

I realize you're attempting to make a joke here, but we actually do sell alcoholic beverages in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
ETA: There are also personal storage lockers (for bringing in your own) and pouring rooms located in the premium/zone seating areas that don't have convenient access to point-of-sale.

Are there any SEC teams that don't sell alcohol anymore?
I know Kentucky was one of the last hold outs and we went full steam ahead on beer this season.
But if we gotta blame anyone its Karen.
edit: damn TMRebel beat me to punch but I didn't click his link.

LOL....almost true. The section our tickets are in allows alcohol sales but I have friends who will be pestering the shite out of me and my son to bring them a beer. I started it in 2017 and I regret it now LOL. I am probably not attending this year though...the section our tickets are in are listed for $2500-$3000 each and I listed ours this morning. My limit is $500. If they drop below that I will go but I doubt they will. I should have listed them earlier but I had a co-worker who was interested in them at $3000 for 4 but he has changed his mind.

And I'm grateful for that fact. I needed it to endure our game this year.

Why do folks have to drink to enjoy football?
I am a non drinker and don't get it.
