This will be the National Championship Game as well as the SEC Championship Game.

My thoughts!

I will be looking for certain matchups to determine the game from the jump.

Bama's offensive line versus Georgia's defensive line. They are going to test the left tackle...Can Proctor hold up?

Georgia's offensive line versus Bama's defensive line. What players step up? My eyes will be on big Tim Keenan. I think he makes his name known nationally Saturday.

Bama's linebackers versus Georgia's running backs. Will Bama linebackers read their keys properly? Gap assignments? Will Bama's linebackers play free & aggressively? Lawson is due for a big game. I need our linebackers coming down hill thumping ball carriers.

Georgia's wide receivers versus Bama's secondary. Can Bama play a clean game on the backend with no busted coverages? The pick plays and screen passes are coming...will we defend it aggressively? Will we look for the ball when it's in the air? Caleb Downs & Malachi has to attack their matchups (be physical). Ladd & Bowers ain't no joke. I need Kool-Aid & Terrion at their best. Will Jaylen Key show up this game? Who makes the big time play on the backend? I know who I'm going with...I'm not saying though.

Bama's receivers versus Georgia's secondary. I think Bama receivers will be amped up for this matchup. Watch out for Kendrick Law and Kobe Prentice.

Bama's running backs must run hard all game and feed the hot hand.

Special teams...I need Will "Money" Reichard to just be HIMSELF again.

Last but not least QB play...I just need Jalen Milroe to take what the defense gives him and we should be good. Jalen Milroe...it's put up or shut up time.

Can someone give insight into how healthy Key and Lawson are for this game? Was Lawson’s play last week due to rust or is he still only about 80%? We need Lawson especially to have a big game.

Our Oline will be tested, certainly, but our containment of Bowers will be crucial. Milroe is going to need to have some key first downs picked up by scrambles. If he is spied consistently, then that opens up whoever is playing slot. Here’s hoping this is Law’s coming out party. Our down 4 are going to have to get consistent pressure. Beck needs to have a jersey that ain’t clean at the end of this game. We need to jump on them from the start.

Seeing what he can do on the pop passes, I wish we would get Law more involved in the downfield passing game.

they have not played a pass rush as good as ours, missouri was probably the best they played and beck got sacked 3 times.

bamas secondary is much better than Georgia's receivers, besides bowers

Conversely Ole Miss and Tennessee have very similar sack and Qb hurry numbers as Missouri but the two had a combined 1 sack and 1 hurry vs UGA. UGA’s OL is one of the biggest strengths of their team

But Bama has already played a team with a much better offense in LSU. UGA isn’t as good as them

Milroe to go nuts. That's my prediction.

If Bama's safeties keep eyes on Bowers and jump routes like Auburn did then Beck will be in trouble.

Bama's cornerbacks has to diagnose routes. Georgia doesn't run a sophisticated offense.

Milroe will be spied on for sure but incorporate him in the run game because Georgia had a ton of trouble with that versus Auburn.

My biggest concern is having Trezmen Marshall matched up against Brock Bowers at ANY point. Marshall has proven to be the worst LB in the SEC in regards to pass coverage. I would honestly prefer Campbell to start instead...

No busted coverages.

Must get pressure and collapse the pocket as much as possible. Tim Keenan and Justin Eboigbe need to have solid games.

No sloppy tackling.

Jalen needs to run the ball if there's 10-20 yards of open field unless one of our guys is WIDE open. There were several times last Saturday he had gobs of yards in front of him and he instead tried to thow the ball. Gotta move the sticks!

Offensive line has to play well. Proctor has improved but I still think they're gonna have to get a chip block on his guy most of the time to help him.

I think Bama has a higher ceiling than UGA, but I also think Bama's floor is much lower.

If this Bama team finally plays to its potential for all four quarters, I think Bama wins by 2+ scores. But that's a lot to ask when facing their toughest opponent of the season.

So, hope for the best!
