This is what makes the SEC the greatest conference. The fans.

Much like the concept that stadiums with larger seating capacity end up with….wait for it….more people in attendance.

That's a lot of girth to pack into those little seats.

I hate UT but I used to tell people during their dark days that UT football wasn't dead. Playing them every year you saw the passion was like it always was and it is for everyone. I have literally traveled to every part of this country and there is nowhere like the southeast during football season. The players and coaches are great but the energy from the fans is what seperates us from the others.

Alabama and A&M averaging the exact same amount of seats is wack...

Well, what else is there to do in Tennessee besides drink moonshine, watch Hee Haw reruns, and bang their sisters?
So sure the games will be attended. It is the largest crowd of fans with the fewest teeth!

Moral victories. It's as though Butch never left!

Makes sense, this was Tennessee's year!
ETA: these numbers are always such horseshite. Certain schools that will remain nameless played in front of a lot half-emptied home stadiums this season are still claiming 90% capacity.

They set crowd weight record of 51,000,000 lbs per game too.

Which school was it that was counting the teams, trainers, etc., in their totals?

That's a lot of sad/angry Tennesseans most of the time giving what their program has been like.

1998 and fat people squeezed into an erector set
eta: would be more informative if you included 3rd quarter attendance as well
