Last week, we ranked Mizzou at #9 and Ole Miss at #12.
However, after Missouri went on the road and beat Arkansas by 34 while Ole Miss went on the road and beat Mississippi State by 10, we've changed our minds and decided Ole Miss deserves a higher ranking than Mizzou.

I assume you haven't been keeping up. Ole Miss fans have gone on the offensive since Saturday that they supposedly deserve a better bowl than Mizzou.
We are simply standing our ground and dispelling the nonsense.

Y’all’s ranking is going to end up being irrelevant because the Cotton Bowl is pushing hard for us. Especially if Texas misses the playoff. They really want Ole Miss-Texas.

I thought that Missouri Week was finally over on this board after stretching into 2 months. But apparently Missouri Week will continue until bowl game assignments are announced. Plot twist!

I think Mizzou is a better team but I would be making same case if things reversed. I can’t fault their argument but I don’t agree.

Agreed. I have nothing against Ole Miss and respect their resume.
Just pointing out that the committee has already set the precedent, and as you pointed out, Missouri is the better team right now.

if you're curious, mizzou week continues because rankings don't matter. you see, the cotton bowl wants ole miss vs texas, and it doesn't matter that ole miss self-admittedly doesn't have the talent to hang with elite teams

This bowl projection is awful
1 - Bama (or UGA) should get Ohio State
2. Louisville should not get NY6 with 3 losses, one being to Kentucky — but if they get an invite, Tulane makes more sense for them than Bama or UGA

It’s still subjective. Rooting for Georgia but curious how committee reacts if 1 loss Texas and Alabama.

FSU will beat L’ville I think. Didn’t think so before this past weekend but I think FSU wins.
