Assuming FSU makes the CFP, the next highest ACC team would get the Orange Bowl.

Well, 10 wins is still pretty good.

This is really dumb. Especially coming from an LSU fan

Unless there is an upset in the Championship games (Texas or Michigan loses (ETA or FSU), I believe Ole Miss, Mizzou and Bama/UGA are all in. (Also Penn State) (Top 11 in the country, plus top ranked group of 5).

Using the final CFP rankings, the selection committee seeds and pairs the top four teams and determines the participants for the other four non-playoff New Year's Six bowls that are not hosting the semifinals that year.

The committee is required to select the remaining champions of the Power Five conferences and include the highest-ranked Group of Five program if that team isn’t in the Playoff (Tulane)

Nope try again. Louisville could claim a spot from outside of the top 11.

That actually is one of the easiest positions to call.

Schrader is a beast.
6 yards per carry? Are you kidding me?
3 rushing TDs against LSU (again... Cook shite the bed in that one).
200 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving against UTi?

1 game with over 300 yards offense
2 games with over 200 yards offense
4 games with over 150 yards offense
7 games with over 125 yards offense

The kid is unreal.

True, then maybe Ole Miss drops to 12th.

By what standard, the Analytics (SportsSource) the CFP committee get has SoS as:
#12 Mizzou
#30 Ole Miss
#32 PSU

Your link has Texas and USCw as #1 and #2 in SoS. No way that is correct.

I just updated it. I hadn't zeroed out one of the categories completely.

That said, CFP has shown UTx as #1 of the contenders for SoS and SoR the last couple of weeks.

Pac gets a boost because of the scheduling in general vs P5 schools.

Need FSU to miss the top 4. They will drop down and get the access bowl for ACC.

Schrader is by farrrrrrr the best back in the SEC this year. Is he the most talented? No of course not but his play speaks for itself. He also did not pad his stats vs turds the UGA and Tenner run defenses are good and he gashed them both. Fans that have played vs Mizzou or ones with any knowledge of football would agree.

This one is tough for sure. To be honest it’s a coin flip type situation. I’m guessing the win over UTK in the way they did it is what helped them jump up the polls. If either teams losses were at different times of the season it might change how they are ranked by the committee. Not saying it’s fair but it seems to be the case.

SportSource is the contracted analytics company for the committee. Members may consult other analytics, but the ones prepared and delivered come from SportSource.

I didn't say I agree with them, but it is the service they chose.

No, we were missing our two best linebackers AND had the ball at the 50 with a chance to win at the end of the game.

That's exactly how Ole Miss and Georgia went right?

Ole Miss really handled Arkansas too didn't they? How badly did you beat them again?

ESPN Power Rankings has Mizzou at 9 and Ole Miss at 10 just like EVERY other ranking, AP, Coaches and most importantly CFP.

That site is crap if they think TX has the 4th hardest schedule in the nation.
AL on the road, OK.
Middling Oklahoma team at at neutral site.
A bunch of nobody's.

The committee doesn't use ESPN's rankings. You need to look at the rankings they actually use.
