Have a feeling Clemson wins big, but hope not. Come on chicks.

It's clearly not a huge rivalry nationally, but there's not another rivalry in the country with the level of hate that SC and Clemson fans have for each other.

True. I think deep down, Bama and Auburn folks love each other.

Rattler is as good of a college QB as there is this year. Maybe not the best pro prospect but imagine the numbers he’d put up with a good team

Clemson either wins big or loses close. They put the ball on the ground alot. Usce has superior special teams and better qb and wrs. Clemson has the advantage at every other position.

Our special teams have been awful this year. Our punter who won the game last year has been absolutely terrible this year

I think he bought into the hype from last year. He's been dogshit this entire year.

Rattler needs a better o-line, and an additional WR target. If Wells didn't miss the entire year, he'd be a Heisman frontrunner.
Hell, if USC had a defense that wasn't hot dogshit, Rattler would be chasing Win #10 right now.
He's the best QB this program has ever had. He'll show out on Saturday.

Gamecocks that I know say Connor Shaw.

Shaw was consistent and dependable. He absolutely was a gamer, and has an unmatched home winning record.
He also had the best defenses the school ever fielded. Rattler has done more with less. Shaw had competent running games, led by Lattimore, Davis, Wilds, and Elliot's run scheme. Rattler has had a literal D2 transfer, a converted TE and a converted QB.
I loved Shaw. He was an excellent football player. But swap Rattler and Shaw with each other's teams, and SC has a national title between 2011 and 2013.

imo if you put Shaw on a lot of other teams he is below average.
If you put Rattler on Shaws team, we may be in a national championship game

Rattler is the best PRUE QB we've ever had. Shaw had a different skill set. He's legs and and his ability to extend drives/plays along with knowledge of the game (from being a coaches son) made up for a lot of his lack of arm accuracy/strength.
And while we're dreaming, I would have LOVED to see Rattler in Spurrier's offense.
