Washington and Utah are both road dogs today.
If they both lose, giving Oregon and Alabama both 1 loss and to top 7 teams likely ranked directly next to each other, can Alabama finally jump Oregon?
Oregon would have ZERO top 25 wins at that point.

There is no reason to have Oregon over Alabama right now.
But if Wash and Utah lose today, it would be absolutely criminal to have Oregon over Alabama. I have a feeling this committee would put Oregon 7 and Alabama 8.
