I feel you are way off base with this. LewDawg was too weak in many ways and always tried to roll with the flow of the board and a certain group of his favs.
He also loved for people to insult him, it was a sexual fetish, and he continually allowed some posters who were total shitheads to reign over other posters who were also total shitheads.
But he tilted the balance always in one direction and didn't allow the shitheads equal time to create a natural harmonious balance. He was way too quick with banning posters who brought balance and counteracted his favorites.
The characteristics of the board were imposed unnaturally, to the detriment of some truly equalizing and devastating posters, to the advantage of equally adept posters who held other viewpoints and supported other teams. All posters weren't give a fair chance to sort things out and it almost ruined the place, as if it were becoming a private club.
That was a facade that has now come crumbling down since the unfair moderator has left.
If left alone, we can all sort it out over time on our own. The natural law of the Internet Flame Wars will happen eventually, as it is starting to develop now, and this board will settle down and get back to normal.
LewDawg upset the balance of this place in ways not foreseen but are now starting to be acknowledged.

I love the banter, but I also enjoy fruitful conversation. I wish we could find a way to have both. Every time someone tries to have real discussion on this board some shite stain comes along and ruins it, and without fail.
