Well to be fair, if everyone stopped giving the trolls and alters attention, they would die off. But time and time again, we(the board) respond with multiple pages.

Wolfie is one of the best among us.
His point is valid. The trolling is not clever, original, or in good humor. It's just people spewing shite, hurling insults, and repetition of gifs/memes/stupid shite that didn't land the first time.
It's joked about a lot, but genuinely feels like there are no more than 20-30 actual regular posters here. Half of those just have 3-5 alters each.
It's certainly not as fun as it used to be, but there are still plenty of good posters out there, and they are appreciated.
The site could benefit from a block/ignore feature.

It’s Chicken’s business model. He decided to generate clicks with trolls and shitposts rather than making this place a venue for talking sports. Most users here are complicit and join in the fray. Admittedly, it works, but it prohibits any real serious discussion. Plus it makes us hate teams because their posters here really suck.

I just posted that this board has gone to shite since Lew quit.
The recent batch of UTK (or people posing as UTK) alters are somehow taking the worst attributes of every single fanbase and being combined into one internet persona.
UTK has its share of abrasive, but overall net positive posters like David Ricky. The WhiskeyRivers, GiveHim6, and ones that make Serraneaux seem somewhat rational are too fricking much.
And it isn't just someone underemployed or unemployed shitting up the board during the week. It happens in game threads on the scoreboard.
I know the divisions were clinched with 2 weeks left in the regular season but there is a coaching search at a program almost as dysfunctional as Auburn, there is an SEC player in the hunt for the Heisman, there is an SEC team with the chance of a Threepeat, there's feel good stories (unless you're the Kansas guy) like Mizzou, there is another team aside from A&M already looking for a new HC and there might be another at Arkansas, basketball season has started, the conference is adding 2 teams next year, this is the last year of divisions, Ole Miss might have its best season ever since my dad could share a water fountain with a black kid, Saban has probably done his best coaching job ever at Alabama this season, Napier and Beamer are in over their heads, Heupel went from pass heavy to a run heavy offense and despite the record that's still an amazing accomplishment from one season to the next, and this is the last year of the SEC on CBS.
There is plenty to discuss, but we get people who act like they had to drop out of Kingsport Middle School to tend to the family meth labs shitting up the board.
And that doesn't include the resident retard JalapeñoJoe AKA BAC All-American LSUstephen17 still doing his thing when he isn't meeting with his probation officer.
