This guy has been playing for like 10 years it feels like. I member when he and his daddy were celebrated at the barn and that seems like ages ago.

Half our fan base wanted him benched/gone. He made a smart move, good for him. Made himself a lot of money with it.

I mean, he had some really bad play for us. Really bad. Had some really good play for us as well. Overall, we weren’t a good situation. Bad development and kid with happy feet in an offense with terrible OL and terrible passing scheme. Always had the talent to play this well, but needed development and playing in the pac-12 doesn’t hurt. I don’t know any Auburn fans that are upset over him doing well.

If Oregon played Auburn's schedule today, he'd look like the same Bo Nix that played at Auburn.

Remember how he completely shite the bed against Georgia last year before magically turning into a Heisman caliber QB the following week? In fact, his stats vs Georgia in his last season at AU were slightly better.

It's easy to look like a world beater in the Pac-12. And no I'm not knocking Auburn. I'm knocking the quality of competition at Oregon.

Oh yeah, they used to call him Bo Pix at Auburn. Didn’t he have an illegitimate child that he wasn’t paying child support for? Maybe he’ll get free iron bowl tickets this year.

Which was retarded. He broke his own leading record for most passes between interceptions in Auburn history.

Many Auburn fans didnt like Bo because the schedule, talent, and coaching on offense kept the offense bogged down, and Bo became a target for not being a savior.

Kinda like how people thought Jalen Hurts just drastically improved at Oklahoma. Maybe there was some natural development, but the major reason for the "improvement" was not having to play against SEC defenses on a weekly basis.

The Heisman will come down to the winner of Oregon vs Washington.

Nah, JD will have yet another monster game against a SunBelt team this week, then he will light up TA&M to lock up the Heisman trophy.

There is no way for an SEC fan to publicly make this statement without it sounding like sour grapes, but personally I think you're spot on.

My critique of his mechanics have been documented many times, and without diving into it all again, he still looks like essentially the same QB to me (albeit more mature).

Watching USC play Oregon recently, it was actually embarrassing how pedestrian both of those teams looked compared to what we're used to here, on a weekly basis.

He’s the same quarterback just playing awful defenses in a bad conference.

Never forget he got beaten 49-3 last year when Oregon played Georgia.

There’s no turnaround. It’s called PAC-12 competition. There’s a reason the conference is dissolving. They’re horrible.

I think Jalen was making improvements every year. and even though he lost the starting job to Tua you could see that.

Not talking about stats vs PAC. I’m talking about arm strength and mechanics. He can make all the typical NFL throws.

It would be cool to beat Bo Nix 5 times in his career.

That doesn't happen every day.

Top 3 Heisman candidates stats vs Top 50 defenses:

Bo Nix:
1 game vs a Top 50 defense -
248 yards passing, 2 TDs, 0 Int, 8 rushing yards, 1 TD

Michael Penix:
4 games vs Top 50 defenses -
1,263 yards passing, 6 TDs, 3 Ints, 25 rushing yards, 0 TDs

Jayden Daniels:
5 games vs Top 50 defenses -
1,469 yards passing, 13 TDs, 4 Ints, 500 rushing yards, 2 TDs (and this doesn't even include the 606 yards TO against Florida last Sat.)

Yards per pass attempt and yards per rush:

Has any player ever led all of college football in passing (yards per attempt) and rushing (yards per carry) in the same season?
Jayden Daniels is currently No. 1 nationally in:
Yards Per Pass Attempt - 11.59 No. 1 - Rush Yards Per Carry - 8.05

JD nationally:
No.1 - Total Offense 408.2 YPG
No.1 - Passing Efficiency - 202.12
No.1 - Passing TD's - 30
No.1 - Points Responsible For Per Game - 23.0
No.1 - Yards Per Pass Attempt - 11.59
No.1 - Rush Yards Per Carry - 8.05

I'm sorry, but this is a no-brainer :)

Never thought he was that impressive.
JMO. I did like the look on his face though
When Young took Bama to overtime & won. Priceless. Only Tim Tebow crying on sidelines was better
