I don't think vol fans have ever been this quiet the week before getting Georgia in Knoxville. They were mouthing about the Georgia game last week.
Then they play Mizzou and, apparently, Mizzou beat the ever-loving soul out of them.
Not a peep to be heard.

I think Saturday's game will get the refs' best effort. They know Dolly Partin's there, and they know she's a straight shooter who won't hesitate to take them to task in national media.

Yep, the Volunteer faithful were all lathered up about the showdown in Neyland this weekend where Tennessee would snatch the SEC East title and vanquish the Georgia Bulldogs into a state of fetal submission.
But now, coming back to reality, they now realize that their numb-nut performance against Mizzou handed the SEC East crown to Georgia before a single snap would take place in Knoxville.
