Ray Perkins was a horrible coach and tried to change too many things during his tenure but the ONE thing I will always love Ray for was that he absolutely LOATHED Auburn and despised their mere existence more than any coach Bama may have ever had outside of Bryant.

Most people’s problem with Aggy isn’t that they want to win trophies. It’s the fact they act like they’ve won many when they haven’t won jack shite. They talk like Bama and play like MS State

I have no issues with someone claiming Alabama is the better football program than Auburn. It will probably always be that way.
The difference between A&M/Texas and Auburn/Alabama is that Texas will also always be the better university than A&M. Auburn beats Alabama in every educational metric except for their scumbag law school.
