It's an award that is given to a player that has led a very successful team to a very successful outcome and has been instrumental in that outcome. Daniels doesn't check any of those boxes. What are you talking about?

Again, 3 winners in last 15 years with teams having 3 losses. Nobody has a clue what your talking about you make no sense.

How did Tim Tebow fulfill his heisman obligations when he won the Heisman with 3 losses in 2007? What about Robert Griffen junior or Lamar Jackson? Did the voters forget to read the rules those years?

You should read other posts in the thread before responding. It’s been mentioned how those guys had WAY better seasons than Jayden is capable of completing with 2 games left. All 3 also had signature wins with their “Heisman Moment.”

Does anyone in this entire thread understand why so many of the LSU fans in it seem irritated and agitated?

It's weird, kind of.

Fertilizer and Jayden just did what none of them nor anyone else in the history of the game has done.

I’ve already stated the statistical disparities multiple times. Try to comprehend what you read before you respond.

For one game against a very, very bad defense. The voters don’t care, won’t care.

The sane posters here are merely discussing a rather interesting topic and interchanging information in a polite and normal way.

I'm not sure why my polite contributions have led you to assume I am a troll that has been here for years using the same avatar.

Have you maybe been drinking a little bit of that 'ole crawdad juice tonight?

This Sun God fellow doesn't seem to readily absorb information presented to him. Maybe he is being purposely obtuse like a type of mythical troll under a bridge or something?

Burrow was just clearly the best. And no one is clearly better than Daniels this year.

Burrow threw for over 5600 yards and had 60 TDs. He was also undefeated.
He was clearly the best by a large margin.
Jayden will not be a statistical leader in total yards or total TDs this year and he’s lost 3 games. He was also bad in the 2nd half against Bama and FSU. The only two defenses he’s played with a pulse. Before getting knocked out of the game with 13 mins left in the 4th QT, Jayden had one TD(on a well scripted 1st drive of the 2nd half) an interception and a punt on his 3 series

Reading comprehension is not your thing. I didn't say that Daniels has clearly been the best like Burrow. I said no one has clearly been better than him. The other moron poster said it would be embarrassing if he got invited because it's clear he wouldn't win (in the poster's opinion). My point was that it's not even clear who the winner would be right now, so his take makes no sense. And it wasn't embarrassing for the other guys who clearly had no shot when Burrow won.

Daniels had over 400+ yards against FSU and was LSU's leading rusher in that game. He also averaged 14.8 ypc and had 163 yards rushing against Bama on just 11 carries and missed nearly a whole quarter. No QB has ever done that to Bama before. And he had an additional 219 yards and accounted for 3 TDs in basically 3 quarters of work against one of the best defenses. LSU's D is why LSU lost.

And tonight, Daniels did what has never been done in FBS football history or SEC history. He is incredible and no one has clearly been better than him. Post the stats if you want and it will prove it.

Now that guy is definitely Heisman worthy. Thanks a lot for the link.

All of the QBs mentioned had 5k+ total yards and or 50+ total TDs. The ones who had bad season had signature wins and all 3 were Sophomores. The voters tend to love guys who play well as Sophomores.

I thought LSU was clearly on their way to losing horrendously due to Daniels play after the half.

But, as stated earlier, LSUVision isn't even offered in my area. I have Charter Cable and they definitely don't have it, I've checked.

Look a few posts back. I posted Caleb Williams’ stated he’s had better stats than Daniels. He’s had an impressive season. His stats are not Heisman worthy for a guy who has 3 losses.

Whoever you are, the assumptions of familiarity with me are odd. Also odd is the inexplicable manner in which you seem to wish to take the thread off-topic and make it personal.

Just settle down, bro. Let's talk football.

No you didn't. Post all the stats. Daniels has a higher passer rating, a higher ypa, higher ypg and destroys him in rushing yards by about 800 more yards.
