Kirby seriously debating on jeopardizing Bowers' NFL future

When recently asked bout Bowers the ethically questionable Saban's protoge had this to say:
"He’s working hard. He’s doing all he can in terms of trying to get himself in shape and get better,” Smart said. “I mean, he’s back running now on dry land. I mean, we’re hopeful that he keeps getting better. I mean, that’s kind of the MO on this injury. Every kid we’ve had so far that’s had it, Week 1 they do this, Week 2 they do this, Week 3 they do that, and Week 4 — I mean, he’s right on schedule for the things he’s been doing.”
Bowers back by week four post injury?
It's pretty obvious that Kirby is getting worried about having to go into Neyland. Can't say i blame him.

I hope he's back by Tennessee just so we don't get excuses from all you closns when Tennessee does what the rest of you losers can't.

The entire point of the tight rope surgery is that the ankle is stronger than before the surgery.
The effect is similar to Tommy John.
Bowers will play when he's ready to play.
He's already practicing non-contact with the team.

Obviously the guy would only be a decoy if he went out there.
Do you know how risky it is pivoting with max speed and strength on a recovering ankle like that? And right before his NFL career begins.
Unless Bowers is like Wolverine the comic book character and made out of steel on the inside, he aint going to be able to do that much.

"It's pretty obvious that Kirby is getting worried "
Yeah, it's pretty obvious alright. When I read that paragraph the first thing that I said was, 'Yup, Kirby is petrified about going to Knoxville..."

Everyone knows you're the most ignorant Vol fan on this forum. But, now I'm convinced you're the most ignorant poster PERIOD. For God's sake man...go away.

Damn dude, there's trolling then there's this post. Not a thing you've quoted or even implied would suggest that Bowers is coming back before he's ready. Meanwhile Kirby has been quoted all year as holding dudes out an extra week or two so they're not being rushed.
This isn't trolling, this is just slander

Must be a miserably life trapped within the confines of a 5th graders mentality and relegated to deriving all your self worth solely from how much interaction you can generate on an internet message board.

Delp is not much of a dropoff

You do realize here’s a decent chance this game doesn’t matter in relation to winning the division. Y’all could easily lose to Mizzou, and I (and Vegas) like the Dawgs at home, at night on senior day.

You do realize the surgery Bowers got is incredibly minor, right?
The tightrope surgery is used because it takes less time and creates less chance of reinjury than just staying off the ankle and waiting for the sprain to heal naturally.
Normal recovery is walking 4-5 days after the surgery and running 8-9 days afterwards. Cutting happens a few days after that. Full recovery is usually in 3-4 weeks, though can go as long as 6 weeks if there are issues.
A 4 week recovery is expected. The timetable is in place to get back to normal range of motion. The procedure itself provides stabilization that makes reinjury extremely unlikely.
I feel like you don't understand that rushing back would simply mean he wouldn't perform to his normal level. It doesn't have long term injury concerns.

Delp is a pretty good player, but he is a huge dropoff. We need Bowers back. If we win this weekend, maybe not for UT (as that game will be for pride only), but definitely for the SECCG.
