Question for Ole Miss fans (Lebby)

Lebby's offense is a fiasco and it's not all about talent. Gabriel has a somewhat-limited skillset but he is a serviceable QB. But this offense loses focus, Lebby is terrible at time management, he has far too many gimmicky gadget plays which 99 times out of 100 produce poor results. We have a ridiculous RB carousel going on, and no part of it makes any sense. All of which result in this offense's inability to find a rhythm.
Many thought hiring a 50 year-old career DC (one of several trepidations I had about this hire) was not the right move. Now it's looking like Brent hired a OC who may have been riding coattails, the likes of Briles, Huepel & Kiffin.. Lebby by himself is amateur hour.
So my question is: was the Lebby-era Ole Miss offense steered by Kiffin? (I have to assume the answer is yes, but want to confirm.)
And what was your overall impression of Lebby while at Ole Miss? Thanks I'll listen off the air

I'm sure Lebby benefitted by having Lane around to help shape some things. I'm also sure that Venables is probably tampering with the offense to some degree. Almost always the issue with new HC's.

Kiffin probably had some bumpers on him. He and Lebby were a match made in heaven. I would take him back tomorrow

I'm confused. I thought the refs were the problem, but now you're telling me it's coaching.

Kidding aside, I seem to recall that Ole Miss fans on here didn't see him going to OU as a loss for their staff.

We'll take him if you don't want him anymore.

We liked him. I think most of our fans would trade Charlie Weiss Jr. for him.

We very much wanted to keep him. Can't really be made either for someone wanting to go back and coach at their alma mater.

Lebby was a good OC for us. There were some times where his play calling frustrated us (Sugar Bowl in 2021 where we ran the ball like 50-60 times) but overall he was solid.

I don't recall seeing any Ole Miss fans saying this.
Now, I definitely believe OM fans had said it not to be a HUGE loss as Kiffin is the offensive guru on the staff.

Lebby is much better than Charlie Weis Jr. However, at the end of the day, what we run is Lane's offense. Lebby was a good compliment to Lane's offense and we'd happy trade ya.

Lebby was good. I think he got a little frustrated at the end that Lane didn't give him full control of play calling.
In my non educated opinion I believe Lebby called the plays while in tempo, but if we had a 3rd down or goal line and the offense checked with the sideline, it was usually a Lane call.
I do think Lane tried that with Weiss early but Lane has had to take more of the play-calling responsibility from Weiss I think over the last year.

This kinda confirms my suspicions. The situational play-calling has been absolutely bizarre for the most part.

Lebby was solid at Ole Miss and we hated to lose him.
But I really like the Lane + Weiss duo we have now.
I'm not sure Lebby and Lane jived like Weiss and Lane do.
