No other team can overcome Milroe and the Bama defense. Crafty Saban sandbagged all of college football. I think Milroe is the top QB this year.

34-24 Horns in Tuscaloosa. Been there, won that.

Bama isnt very good. Milroe is an average QB.

No way they stay within 14 of UGA

That is weird. Because last week you said LSU was going to whip Georgia’s arse in the SEC championship game.

LSU D may be making Bama look more put together than they have been.

All of them, they will do what House was too stupid to do and spy Milroe with their best defender…

I’ll be so glad when Texas and OU get in the SEC and have to play SEC teams weekly. This ain’t gonna be the cakewalk they’ve been getting in the little 2.
Damn straight! I bet what happened to LSU and Tennessee against Alabama for sure would've happened to Texas this year!

Oh wait...

You would get ended inside of Neyland.

No BS home ref cooking and Milton and the WRs have really gelled since that game. Took a few games after losing Bru to injury for some others to step up.

Michigan or Georgia, that's it. Oregon may give them a run

Not anyone in the Big Ten for sure. The West is never competitive in playoffs. I'm not confident that anyone would beat us, but plenty might.

You say Michigan but last year everyone was saying the same shite and TCU handled them, then got completely wrecked by the Dawgs. Everyone with hindsight knew that there were better teams to compete in the playoffs besides Michigan and certainly TCU. Bammer probably would have hard-rolled both of those teams at the end of the season last year and I don’t think most realistic CFB fans would disagree.

I feel like that is likely the same this year. Bama has barely won and been forced to grind for most of their wins this season, as they are a young, inexperienced, lacking elite discipline, and just generally sloppy.

But they WIN. I know I’m biased, but trying to put that to the side and just have a neutral perspective, I would bet that it’s likely the same again this year…. Michigan isn’t on Bama’s talent and grind level I’d bet.

Bama has looked so bad….. but I’m just seeing now that they are really hard to beat and they are getting better and it’s Bama and Saban and they are rolling. They could lose against any of the top 10 teams but it’s looking scary for their opponents right now and y’all know it.

What I was suggesting was playing and SEC schedule week in and week out, not just playing a single SEC opponent. It wears on a team. I bet Texas looses at least 2 SEC games their first year in the conference.

Bama is not safe on the road next week vs UK and certainly not in voodoo Hare stadium.

I'll wait until the season and SEC CG are actually over before worrying about any hypotheticals.

Although, that likely answers the question. Lots of teams could beat Bama. They have talent and are gaining experience through reps and sets in tough games. It's a dangerous team, but still has a lot of room to grow to give most any real confidence of a W vs elite teams.

This is agreeable to me and IMO obvious facts. But that wasn’t the question…. The question was who feels confident in beating Bama right now. We know at this point any Saturday with these teams, and especially Bama, anyone can win. But the point is who and what teams feel confident playing and beating Bama right now.

I feel like Bama is scrappy and grinding and scary AF to any opponent right now. Who do y’all think wants to play them and is confident in beating them right now?

I think UGA vs. Alabama would be a pick ‘em on a neutral field right now. Maybe UGA -2. Just my inclination, not sure. It would be a really close game.

Georgia has given up 139 points this season while scoring 354.Georgia would be a tough opponent for Alabama by virtue of having a better defensive backfield this season than in previous years while Alabama's receiving corps is good but not as great as it has been in past years.

If I were to estimate a final score at this point in the season, I would say Georgia 31 to 23 for Alabama.

I think there’s probably 12 teams or so that could win a four game playoff.
