I think the NM game should make us bowl eligible. Arkansas is a toss up. I have seen them play well in some games and stink it up in others. Not sure what to expect. The prospects for the Iron Bowl don't look good at this point but our guys will play hard.

IF we can be turnover free next week at Arkansas, I like our chances.

We also need to not drop passes.

Gave them 6 and did not get 6 on a dumb pass and a drop.

Hopefully, we will get better.

I know Florida is not a world beater but Arkansas looked decent yesterday. Next week will be the harder game of these last 4 we have or had other than Bama. We will not be able to make stupid mistakes and win

Will be interesting to see the line. I bet it be Hogs - 3

Freeze going bowling in year one = a clear trajectory up and Auburn on schedule

Meh, that is a weak target. Auburn should go to a bowl game every year regardless.

The QB is experienced and mobile. And big.

They have athletes.

We will need to make plays to win.

Should, but we have missed the past couple years. Going back to bowling is the first step.

Agreed. We are coming out of the potato famine and getting to go to a bowl, even a crappy one, is a step in the right direction. A bowl invite opens up practice time that is badly needed.

Didnt we only miss last year? Cant remember.

And I am holding Hugh to a much higher standard than yalls savior Harskins. Dude was a total flop and quitter.

Figure Auburn has 3 rent-a-wins every year. That is standard. That means Auburn only has to win 3 games out of 9 every year to go bowling. That should be automatic honestly.

It truely is weak goal for a program that is deemed a top 15 of all time.

Bowling should be automatic other than catastrophic times like 2008 and 2012

If they do a bowl down here, we will certainl go if we are not moving.

Arkansas currently has the better QB but their team is disfunctional. Their OC which has been there for many years has already gotten fired. Their OL is garbage and that resulted in Rocket Sanders having a shitty year when he was projected a high draft pick at RB. Also, Pittman, the so called PittBoss is no longer the endearing psycho that Arkansas fans loved a couple years ago and he is probably on the hot seat. Lastly, Jefferson, the qb, has not lived up to expectations. He has even regressed.

Considering the dumpster fire that Freeze took over I personally felt preseason that if this team became bowl eligible that would be considered "a successful" season. I'm not one of those guys that likes to count chickens before they hatch, but I consider the likelihood of this occurring pretty strong at this point in time.

Regarding the game this week in fayetteville, I know Arkansas to this point has not had a fantastic season by any means. I think them leaving Gainesville with a win yesterday really was the best thing for this Auburn team as far as getting focused to play a this team in their home stadium next weekend. It just shows that they have some fight left in them.

4 lay ups and the worst sec in decades, plus we get vandy from the east. 6 wins is the minimum

Ahh yes, I put out of my memory of our loss to Houston.

This is the reason why you deserve all the shite that comes your way.

Are you living under a rock? The past couple years have been catastrophic times. How in the frick did you not include 2022 with 2012? I dont care about your vendetta of butthurt. Fact of the matter is last year we were a 5 win team. The year before we would not have gone bowling if we didnt have Bo for 10 games. Freeze is on schedule this year by exceeding the win total from last year. That is called a positive development. One more season like that then we have a trend. Goals dont change. The goal is championships, but we just brought in 40+ new kids and our "strong goals" were on hold this year. We are learning to walk before we run again.

I know you dont understand trajectory since Gus stunted any kind of program-building trajectory with his premature rise in 2013, followed by a steep resistance to success past 8 wins afterward, but if you listen to me and do as I do then you might start appearing smart to your peers.

KJ Jefferson is more similar to Chris Relf than Bama's Qb which is more similar to...Mike Vick.

Im not sure that you dont have some kind of sustained head injury or if you just like to hear yourself talk.

Im not sure how you ramble like you do but I can only imagine you need meds for it.

I think we all know how bad 2023 was. Like 2008 and 2013. I didnt list every year that we are bad, just a couple of examples. Just calm the frick down. We are obviously in a better place but how good is the question?

I dont think anyone can watch what we did on offense this year and say we are "on track" considering what we expected Freeze to bring to the table. It has been a complete shite show other than a few quarters of football against some pretty bad competition.

Thje jury is still out on him and what we will be under him

Just keep winning. However it takes. Arkansas is next. We can worry about the last 2 games of the regular season then.

But again just for those that don’t know football Hardashian left us with a roster that was about 30 players short of being comparable to the other Big 6 SEC members. Next year will be a struggle as well but should be a little better but also a little younger
