I think the saddest thing is: despite how ridiculous these guys look, and the public subsequently roasting them each week for it, there are actually students sitting around in college station bummed out about how they weren’t good enough to join this esteemed cheerleading squad

Don’t all SEC schools have male cheerleaders? I know that Florida does, and Georgia, and LSU, and Ole Miss does…
Why doesn’t anyone ever talk about them? I’d bet majority of them are queer. Have y’all called your alumni association and demanded your school gets rid of your male cheerleaders?Might be a good place to start.

The ones you noted support the female cheerleaders mostly.
The aggy all male cheerleader squad is prominently used for the identity of the school.

Guys don't expect the Aggies to yield. They are forced to drink the kool-aid in their cult orientation when they arrive as freshmen. Even their families attend the orientation and drink the kool-aid.
I have a pretty head strong co-worker who's kid was an Aggie. Even she won't relent despite slipping up and telling me it's a cult.

Two of the Florida male cheerleaders were known queers back when I was in school. Everyone knew about it. No straight male goes out for the cheer squad.
