When you look at how things turned out for the SEC, Alabama really got an unfortunate SEC schedule this year. We play the bottom 3 SEC teams (the only 3 who are a cake-walk W) only once. We play the best 3 teams (other than us) twice and the 4th best opponent once in Rupp. We also already played the 5th best SEC opponent twice. Rough draw.

It would be nice to get a little help tomorrow from Aggie (home vs Tenn) or Fla (home vs Aub). Vandy beating SCar is likely too much to ask.

I wonder if Jalen Cook will be available for them tomorrow? I saw he didn’t play Wednesday because of a hamstring problem.

he could be a force, but right now he's getting abused defensively and doesn't provide enough consistent offense to justify these minutes.

Stevenson has never had a problem defensively during the five games since the game against Missouri. He actually showed great improvement defensively. In the game on January 24th, he successfully defended Broome at the post twice in a row.
In fact, most of the games in which he played for a short period of time were due to defensive weaknesses. But since the game against Tennessee, he's been consistently getting over 20 minutes of playing time and has even played in clutch time.
Recently, Stevenson has played with Nelson much more than with Pringle and Wague.
(Because I was not able to watch the game on February 7th, I did not evaluate the players for the last game.)

don't know what the atmosphere will be like tomorrow in Baton Rouge but there's not one word about our game on the tigerrant. Mardi Gras and the early start won't help attendance either.

Hell yeah! I've never been happy about an 11 am game. But this means I can watch it and catch the parade tomorrow.
