Pittman and Enos are (rightly) catching most of the hell, but Ben Sowders isn't getting nearly enough shite for this shitshow of a team. He was supposed to fix our short yardage and blown lead situations, but they're worse now.

Our OL looks soft, slow, and weak, and consistently can't get a push on down and short situations against inferior opponents.

Our backs are all overweight, notably Rocket who inexplicably ballooned to 242 but also Dominique Johnson who's now 250+ and moves like a 90 year old. Sowders said Rocket was faster. bullshite.

Our receivers (save for Armstrong) can't beat press and can't get separation, and none have breakaway speed.

Our vaunted DL hasn't pissed a drop for much of the season until recently.

Something was obviously off last year, but it looks worse this year. We have zero team speed, zero explosiveness, and are getting manhandled on the OL.

Maybe spending all offseason telling the players in the weight room how loved they are was the wrong approach.

New staff seems to work for the defense, damn sure worked for Landon Jackson.

The secondary and linebackers are no longer being pushed around...

I just don’t think the receivers are good. Armstrong and Teslaa can catch but don’t have speed to get open consistently

Yet they have been constantly open only to have the QB not get them the ball.

bullshite… these fricking receivers aren’t open nearly enough and if they are it’s the third read. The TEs are the only guys that consistently get open, which isn’t surprising in an Enos offense.

Feels like a repeat of the Bert downfall

You would need a QB who is able to make it past the first read to find them, but they have been there all year long.

don't usually do this, but agree with DD here. Yesterday alone, there were several times that WR's were wide open and KJ took the quick pass, and then threw it into the ground.

Loved him rolling his eyes and the camera catching his obvious bad attitude. Now, I get it. I would have difficulty as well with that Oline, but damn. He played all out against Bama and laid the frick down for Miss State. What gives? He is done!!!!

Armstrong was wide open and would have been a sure TD, but we throw it to the RB for 2 yards.

Neither was the MSU receiver that jumped over Braxton for the 30 yard gain on 3rd and 15.

My problem is we never let our WRs have an opportunity to win a jump ball situation despite having tons of size. We’d rather call a QB draw or short screen on 3rd and 12. I mean Broden is 6’7 and we refuse to just let him Moss a DB.

That’s not how modern offenses run. It’s all one or two reads and run.

That’s part of the reason that so many guys have done well in the NFL when you wouldn’t expect it.

We got a lot of problems that need addressed way before the receivers. Kj is one of them.

Maybe the new strength coach was hired for the old OC? How do the times line up?

Maybe we should have went for Kiero Small, who worked under the strength coach we had under Bert that’s now at Michigan.

If we didn’t have a tight end throwing the ball, QB might be accurate enough to do jump balls.
