If allegations against Michigan prove to be true, should they receive a playoff ban?

And Harbaugh be forced out?

Playoff ban - yes
Harbaugh forced out - no, but suspended to start next season again.

100%. If ole Miss did this we would receive a ban.

No. If someone is dumb enough to get their signals stolen then they deserve it. It's no different than knowing what plays teams run when lined up a certain way. They can still change it last second before it can be relayed to the team.
Plus most plays have options that can't be known by the signal or zones on defense.

Nah, the SEC needs a cupcake in the playoffs.

I was thinking the same thing. How can a cheat by in the playoffs?

I don't know if it's common practice and everyone is doing it, but it sounds bad for sure. Post-season ban seems reasonable but I'd like to mud stomp them again in the playoffs, too.

No - it’s too enjoyable to see them get trashed in the playoffs

Incoming Mizzou postseason ban.

This NCAA would never do that. This NCAA will give him a two day practice ban and fine UM 10K.
The old NCAA would have suspended him the rest of the season, docked 20 scholarships over 2 years and banned them from postseason for 2 years.

No one knows what happened yet.
If they took pictures of playsheets with advanced cameras then had a guy telling staffers what play was being pointed at on the playsheet or they knew what certain motions led to certain plays because they had tons of info then yes.
There is an ESPN article about one of Michigan's staffers. In it says a big ten source says it's worse than the patriots and astros. That isn't being released IMO unless it's serious

Michigan is too big for the NCAA to actually punish them. So Missouri will get a bowl ban instead

It's OCT 20 ... You expect the NCAA to move on something in the next 10 wks. It'll be quick if something is mentioned by June

I don't think they would get a playoff ban, but they could force them to vacate a few games and put it on the Big Ten to see if they would be allowed into the Big Ten Championship game. They did change the rules for Ohio State in 2020 to be allowed into the Big10 CG.

Didn’t Clemson also do this?
