Tulane ranked #23/#24( AP/Coaches). Should relegation be on table for Vandy?

A 3 yr membership on the line in a winner take all bowl game at the end of the season.
I really think the SEC needs to force this on Vandy.
There is absolutely ZERO reason that Vandy, with getting their full SEC share, should not be able to field a competitive football team. Tulane has been putting together back to back outstanding seasons ( Win over USCw and played Ole Miss really well).
Perhaps this relegation would force Vandy to get their shite together and priorities more in line with the rest of the conference.
At this point their taking of an SEC share is tantamount to stealing.
The relegation game versus Tulane would be hyped up like no other. Literally they would be playing for $180m-$200m. It would be epic.

All trolling aside, Willie Fritz has done a very good job at Tulane.

Comparing Tulane academics to Vandy.

When players come for a visit and see a shitty high school stadium that even Vandy fans are ashamed of that’s what you get.
Even if the city of Nashville offered them Nissan Stadium those lib-tards would turn it down.
Football is too manly these days for Vandy to invest in.
I went to game there last year it was horrible
Vandy could easily fill a 50 or 60k stadium if it wasn’t an embarrassment for the fans

We get that Tulane is the "Vanderbilt of Louisiana"...
But that doesn't make it equal to the actual Vanderbilt.

Honestly I hope we end up in a bowl vs Tulane if we don't make the playoffs this year. That'd be a damn good game.

Tulane would quickly swallow LSU so I’m cool with this.
Although Tulane’s academics are arse compared to Vanderbilt. Vandy is actually moving the needle in the world and Tulane just gets to say they’re smarter than LSU.
Sort of still prefer Vandy. Don’t want our players being required to experience your crime riddled Louisiana cities that often. Baton Rouge is bad enough. I don’t want them having to stay in NOLA also.

Tulane left the conference. They are not coming back. Even if Vandy was forced out, Tulane would not replace them. Fantasize all you want, but 1966 was a bad year for Tulane decision-makers.

LSU would be scared shitless to have in state competition. Add that the location of the major recruiting is in a 30 minute car ride from Tulane.
They can't dominate having the state by their selves, they would be a poor mans Ole Miss, and Tulane would be a Poor mans MSU.
