You don’t bring TV viewers. Stats have proven over the years people in Mizzou aren’t watching Mizzou sports.
Neither of our programs will ever be legit in football.

Arkansas is not as bad as their record as much as I hate to say it. Would not be surprised if y’all still made a bowl.
I don’t think Pittman is an exceptional coach or anything, but not sure Arkansas is going to do much better

I’m as pessimistic as they come but I actually agree. Our schedule was ridiculously front loaded (BYU was still an inexcusable loss) but there are many wins to be had on the back end.

We’ve had what were considered better to great coaches with similar results. Up and down, but down isn’t tolerated on the internet.
Ken Hatfield was considered one of our greatest coaches but he would have been run off if the internet existed back then. And that was the SWC.
The number 1 priority in the SEC is football and everyone is trying to be good at it. The other sports are gravy.
We’ve had Bama carrying the conference with lsu, Auburn stepping up occasionally and now Georgia. The rest are yo-yoing between good and suck.

Arkansas has an offense that was ranked 111th in the nation before the Bama game.
Lost the BYU game because of Penalties and turnovers.
Lost the LSU game because of wasted timeouts that could have given them a chance in the fourth quarter.
Lost the Ole Miss game late in the fourth quarter by a KJ interception.
Lost the Bama game late in the fourth quarter by a typical Arkansas collapse.

Why don’t you think Arkansas isn’t going to do much better than Pittman?
Arkansas has shown we can hire from other P5 programs when we got Bielema. He didn’t work out here but still proves my point.
I’m amazed at how many of you opposing fans just think Arkansas should just be happy with Pittman and accept moral victories.

Miss State is pretty bad. Arkansas is mediocre. It looks much worse on Pittman to lose that game than Arnett.

This will matter in the future, but it did not matter when MU & A&M were added in ‘12. Streaming requires eyeballs. That is expected to be the new model (but we’ll see). Cable packages only require sports fans. Missouri has a shite ton of followed professional sports. If there are enough fans to demand the SEC Network in their sports packages (there are). EVERYONE gets it and indirectly pays for it whether they watch it or not.
