UF, Mizzou off of a bye week, Ole Miss, UTk on the road.

20-5 combined record, all of those teams currently only have 1 SEC loss.

Mizzou and UTk worry me the most, but could see us losing to any of the teams if we come out sloppy and slow. Regardless going to be an exciting finish for a supposedly "easy" schedule.

Clear and present.

Florida is the only game we play next.

I’m less worried about Tennessee after watching their game yesterday. Milton sucks. hell aTm had every chance to come back and win that game at the end and their 2nd string qb blew it.
Not that worried about Florida either but that game is going to probably be a lot closer if Brock is out.
Mizzou is worrisome now. Brady cook carved Kentucky up with short passes last night.
Ole miss has no defense

We’ve been waiting and shall receive in due time. I have full trust in Kirby and Beck. I know when we play a ranked team, you see the true capabilities. I’ll be nervous as hell (like always) but I have faith in these guys.

I like our chances against Mizzou at home and FL.

I am NOT confident about TN in Leland. They have an axe to grind after last year and that place is going to be tough. They would love nothing more than to dash our SEC hopes. They can put up yards and their D is improved over last year.

We play so much better at home so Tennessee and Florida worry me the most.

I’m always nervous playing UF, they could bring out their practice squad, and I’d think UGA could lose. Not too worried about Mizzou, Tennessee will definitely challenge this team’s abilities. If they thought playing at Auburn was tough, Knoxville will be rocking!

It’s time to start seeing this team’s ability to play like they did against UK, and less like the rest of the games.

Florida we will have to work some schemes to pressure the QB. They have some good players and he can hit them if he has a clean pocket. They had a few good athletes on Defense, but weren’t terribly good against the run or pass.

Normally, I wouldn't worry about Florida this year but this team just feels like one that will lay an egg against someone, probably on the road.

I think it can be argued that we have lain a few eggs, yet still figured a way to win.

With the turnovers - - Every game could be a loss. Same as always. Only this year, we don’t have the D to cover up as many mistakes (turnovers, missed fg).

UT game will be huge if they beat Bama.

Mizzou will be big as they have UF and UT after that game.

The East is wide open.

UT - at Mizzou, at KY, at Bama

UF - at Mizzou, at LSU

Mizzou - at UGA , UT and UF home

Yesterday showed that the best thing a team can do is figure out how to win each week and then get ready for the next one.
Notre Dame, who lost to Louisville the week before, made the undefeated USC QB look like hot garbage with 3 picks. He was so bad they pulled him with 4 minutes left when the game was out of reach.
The Louisville team that beat Notre Dame the week before lost to 1-4 Pitt.

UGA hasn’t been sexy too often, but they keep winning. One week at a time. And focusing on getter better and being better than their opponents. One week at a time. In Kirby we trust.

Above is quoted from Peter Buck…for some reason (probably operator error) it showed up as original script.

I’ve been focusing on this fact…the lack of trashing everyone we play isn’t because we CANT. It’s because we are constantly working on getting better. Kirby is bringing this team along at the pace this team CAN go.

Joel Klatt (who I know is no friend of the SECRANT denizens) put it perfectly last week after Kentucky.

Paraphrasing Klatt: UGA is Usain Bolt in his prime…screw around and run average times in the qualifying heats, and then just pull away in the middle of the 100m final like everyone else is tied to a stump.

Florida's OL looked horrible the first few games of the season but have gelled.

Pearsall and Etienne are NFL players.

Mertz is hot and cold.

If Mertz is hot, and Pearsall and Etienne are healthy, the cocktail party is going to be a rough game. And if we hand them an extra possession or two with turnovers, even rougher. The way I see a turnover is we lose a potential 7 points on the score, and if they capitalize, get 7 points. That's a 14 point swing. frick around and do it twice, that's a 28 point swing. Mekhi Mews' ball skills scare the shite out of me. At this point he's more likely to drop it than to bring it all the way back. I'm starting to ramble now so I'll go ahead and submit this.

I think he is trying to make a spectacular play every time he fields a punt or kickoff. He needs to just concentrate on the catch and let the run develop. Maybe try RaRa in practice this week.

Lovett was 9 catches and 72 yards and a TD. I see us doing more planning for him next game as well. He should have those type numbers the rest of the way.

Ole Miss is the toughest team we have left, and it seems like they are being talked about the least.
