But for some reason I got zero response when I have asked to join the Georgia forum. After about ten separate requests I simply gave up.

Thank you. Besides, it's all meant in fun anyway, but Bama posters are so serious -- they lose a game and, wham! , some shooting goes on, etc. If I keep this up a Bama fan may send an EMP to my computer to shut it down! :)

If UGA is supposed to be some kind of dynasty or kings of the SEC how come they only have 3 SEC titles in the last 18 years?

Because the dynasty just started rather than starting 18 years ago? I don't think anyone at UGA was promoting Mark Richt as running a dynastic program.

Or perhaps both Bama and UGA were built by Kirby's recruiting.
By the 2018 season, Smart's recruits were mostly gone from Bama.
Since then Bama has won 1 national title... which is very good. But that's not what Bama was doing when Kirby or his recruits were there. It's more like LSU level. Instead UGA seems to be moving to that type of program that existed at Bama.
Or you can claim Kirby as a bama product if you want. Doesn't hurt my feelings.

That's pretty bold already claiming a dynasty when things can change so quickly in college football. Look at all the teams that were supposed to dethrone alabama over the years. I'd probably wait until the eggs hatched before counting the chickens if I was a Georgia fan. Hell just a few years ago, Clemson was the new standard, we see how quickly that went to shite

I didn't in fact claim a dynasty. He said UGA fans were claiming this.
I'm pointing out that IF UGA does go down as having a dynasty, the starting season would be 2021 or MAYBE 2017. Not pre-Kirby UGA.
I do think that if UGA wins the national title again this year, it will qualify as a dynasty, even if UGA goes away afterwards.
3 straight national titles is a big enough accomplishment to warrant dynasty status.
If UGA doesn't win this year but ends up with 4 titles in 8 seasons or 5 titles in 10, that would qualify as well.

Some people say Bill Belichick was the reason for the Patriots dominance. Some people say Tom Brady was the reason.
