Georgia enters its 17th straight week at the top of the AP poll surpassing Bama for longest streak in SEC history and tied fourth overall
Can surpass FSU this week, USC after the Cocktail Party. Currently USC also holds the top spot for their 2003-2005 run

Is this the most boring run a program has ever been on in college football?
I only know these things about UGA because of the non stop threads by insecure dawgs.

Imagine thinking it's possible to be ranked as the best team in America for 17 consecutive polls and not have played anyone good. It's so hard for (some) LSU fans to give any credit to anyone else, presumably because their pea brains would equate that with degrading their own team?

It's because the East and crossover rival Auburn have been below average the last few years. The East has been below the West for quite some time. Also Bama, OU, OSU, and Clemson have been relatively down the last 2 years. They are good but not much competition.
