But I respect what Stoops has done. If they win, in Athens at night next Saturday ,then there’s nothing left to say. Good fricking luck!

Same. Nothing to hate about UK’s team

Agreed. We can talk football without the nonsense.

I like their football team, but......
Maybe you don't watch them in Basketball.
(before their recent decline)
Especially when you go to play @ Rup arena

I can easily see why a UGA fan would have a hard time hating UK. Even though he arrived in Lexington before Kirby went home Stoops has built his program the UGA/Bama way.
Line of scrimmage physicality, no frills and few screw ups or gimmicks on defense, use the run to set up the pass on offense.
Georgia, of course, doesn't have to take shortcuts or do gimmicky junk to build a great team, but it is certainly very tempting to do so at a place like Kentucky. Stoops has not done that.
It's not always exciting and may not produce as many shocking , one off upsets as the gimmicky stuff does, but it's the slow, steady way. And it's working.
I doubt that UK wins this weekend. Georgia doesn't have quite the defense you've had recently but our offense is too one dimensional to do a lot and UGA has too many offensive playmakers and they'll break some stuff even if Brad White calls his usual great game defensively.
But the Georgia fans will see a team that plays the game the way it's supposed to be played. Hard to hate that.

I honestly hope for a good game from both teams, with an exciting finish.

Best player on the field, on both sides of the ball, will be Bowers. He is the difference. GA is still better, top to bottom, but Kentucky has nothing for that kid.
I'd like to see the over / under prop bet just for that kid. I'd say at least ten catches. 150 yards or so. Two TDs. He's the real deal.

Auburn had pretty well shut him down with double coverage most of the game, which is when your other receivers are supposed to shine. Unfortunately our other receivers werent very shiny. I expect UK to follow that same playbook.

My favs in SEC...Georgia, Bama and Kentucky. Most reasonable fans.
Everybody else including my Ags...can get rather chippy and overly emotional.
Stoops is respected. I cant wait to watch!
