Georgia - pick your poison

Selective memory creates more losses than anything! I see far too many judging Kentucky as one dimensional - based on their last game. Leary can pass. Just didn’t have the need against Florida.
Will Leary pass against Georgia? Well, that depends on whether they stack the box….or not. Stoops and Coen and White can coach….so then the chess game begins. So, Georgia - pick your poison.

No one is judging Kentucky for being one dimensional, Kentucky is one dimensional. They need a passing game to win imo.

When Kentucky brought its last super dooper undefeated possibly best Kentucky team ever into Sanford Stadium two years ago, it didn't turn out so great.

They won't be playing the UGA D from two years ago. What happened then is meaningless to this game.

We still have the same coaches that designed the gameplay against them right? Same loud-arse stadium right? To say "what happened then is meaningless" doesn't really have any real meaning lol.

UGA has some of the same coaches. Lanning is gone, for one.
The Xs and Os might be the same, but the Jimmys and Joes aren't.

I don’t think our coaches are doing this..I don’t see what anyone here’s memory has to do with this game.

Is there anything to be learned from other UK games this year?

Do you know anything about UGA?
We play light boxes.
We played light boxes against Auburn.
There is a play where Auburn was in 11 personnel with the TE flexed out.
We had 3 down linemen and 1 linebacker. We stuffed their inside run with the 3 down linemen (3 vs 5 plus a QB plus a RB).

Kentucky wins the SEC championship this year. Calling it now.

We will give UK multiple looks on defense as always. Stacking the box wreaks of desperation, unless you are playing a team that doesn't really want to throw it.
Part of Georgia's problem is not correctible. We don't have a game wrecker at DL. We still have guys that can hold their gaps though.
Part of Georgia's problem is correctible. We've got LBers that can play better that are not currently.

There’s not really a poison to pick the way UGA runs its defense. It’s can the Dawgs execute at a high level against Kentucky who in the past 3-4 seasons has become a very physical opponent. Probably the 2nd most physical team in the east.
The win streak stands at 13 and the most lopsided wins happen in Athens. Sorry just don’t see Kentucky winning this one in Athens this year. Beck has improved every week and the offense is now opened up. UK is going to get a sack of hammers dropped on them Saturday.

We will have to have an effective passing game to have any chance to win. I think that should be obvious.
I don't expect Davis to run for 280.

Leary can pass?
In games against P5 opponents he had 205 yards vs Vandy and 69 yards vs UF. 51% and 47% completions in those two games. 2TD and 2INT.
That doesn't really suggest a competent passer.
I'm pretty sure we'll pick Leary as the lesser threat. I think every other team would do the same.

It’s odd seeing people call us one dimensional. Up until the Florida game, we were heavy pass. Many fans questioned whether the run game would ever get going. Now seeing people say we can’t throw is funny. Not sure what to expect Saturday

We’ll probably take our chances with making Leary beat us in Sanford Stadium.

You do realize that only 4 conference teams have thrown for fewer yards than Kentucky.
Congrats on being grouped with Payton Thorne, Will Rogers, Jalen Milroe, and KJ Jefferson.

Regarding my reference to the past…..
Each year, each team is different. Players graduate, new ones arrive. Hence trying to say your team is “great” because they were last year is ludicrous. Each year a team succeeds or fails on the merits of that particular year. So - drop the ad hominem of past success. It is boring and irrelevant.
As for Kentucky’s passing…. I wonder how many realize that Kentucky’s first touchdown last week was - a pass from Leary. It’s not the quality or the precision or quantity of the pass…..but whether they result in scores.
Georgia is in for a game, just don’t try and convince me that they will destroy Kentucky……based on past years.
To put it another way…….Stenson ain’t walkin’ out that tunnel!
