I just wonder if there’s much of a difference if we had kept both twins in tact and let Graham relieve the two for spells.

A large part of me thinks we would be a slightly different team. We can’t guard anyone down low. We don’t score down low with any consistency at all. Muss’s teams who have excelled have had Justin Smith, Jaylin Williams, and the twins down low. There’s absolutely nothing to write home about this year.

This is on Muss IMO. Everyone else gets to make mistake after mistake but Battle makes one on defense and he’s out

He’d rather have Brazille out there who doesn’t really screw up, but also rarely contributes anything

It's fun watching him get owned by 6'6 wing players and watching the other team rebound

Maybe time investment. Unfortunately not the financial investment.

Worst spent $2M dollars in history.

What worries me is Muss had a mercenary team last year that struggled to get it together and then he couldn’t get anyone to stick around. The ones that did are garbage and he essentially built an even worse one again this year.

I look at who UT gets to stick around and even Bama and it’s a huge gap for us.

Yea yea yea, we’ve done better in the tourney but we haven’t won squat, barely made it last year and certainly aren’t making it this year.

Muss keeps talking about the team not doing this, not doing that, as if he’s an NBA coach with a GM.

He is the GM and this is 100% on him at the end of the day. If he doesn’t start to own it before the end of the year, I won’t shed a tear if he moves on.

A lot of folks said this might happen with him. He’s transient and has no problem bleeding a program out and leaving.

Muss has more than earned a bad year so far so I do think it's a bit much for me to call for his head outright, but I do think there should be some kind of awareness that if Chris Beard shows even the tiniest bit of interest we pull the trigger immediately.

Muss is a fantastic coach. Beard is better.

Winning the sec tourney might become very important this year.

Hunter has shown he isn’t that serious about winning, so I don’t see that happening.

Priorities appear to be:
1. Being a nice guy
2. Not paying buyouts, although he’s happy to bind us to them
3. Winning (as long as it doesn’t interfere with the above)

Don’t worry, Muss cucked him out of a buyout during the last negotiation.

So when we actually need one to keep a coach, we in fact don’t have one at all.

Muss can easily walk after this year and I’m more and more suspicious he plans to do so.

That’s the rumor from Rivals…

And agree Muss has earned a year like this but to say a 3-5 win SEC season in year 5 isn’t a huge concern? I’d be lying.

This team looks down there with Heath year 1 and 2 and Pelphrey year 2. Shocking to type that.

So we're just going to suddenly start winning conference games?

At this rate we'll be left out.

We need some big bodies at the 4 and the 5. Height isn’t everything just need some grown arse men. Tired of seeing toothpicks like Graham and Brazile get bodied week after week.

Muss went way too guard heavy in the portal and he knows it. I’m assuming his portal philosophy changes next year

10000% the problem. And we let the more physical of the twins go to ualr and our freshman big isn't ready. A calamity of recruiting/ roster management errors. It happens.

Hopefully that doesn't impact future money support from the Hunts.

Has Brazile become this year’s Connor Vanover? Tall guy who shoots the 3 but not much of a factor inside anymore. When Vanover played less that team started winning. Muss has scorers and slashers and he needs to use them. This team can’t rebound anyway.

Me going through the phases of grief reading you compare Brazile to Vanover

Brazile after Duke was mocked as high as #7 overall so no. Hell even all offseason after a torn ACL he was still in the 20's to teens.

The team last year was much better suited for Brazile. Our guard play this year and coaching is not.

I don't think it's ALL him.
