Lsu has a real tiger and a mascot tiger. Besides Auburn culture appropriation (War Eagle) and tiger mascot. I've not noticed any other school with two mascots.

You mean as in a live mascot or schools with two different mascots altogether? I’m pretty sure Long Beach State calls their teams “the beach” in most sports but their baseball team is known as the dirtbags. They have a live dirt bag mascot that bums cigarettes in the crowd.

It happens early last century, someone who was broadcasting or writing about the game said that team looked so big, they looked like a stampede of red elephants coming out of the tunnel.

No. It’s really not difficult except for lessor intellects. Does Tide and an Elephant confuse you also?
Tigers = mascot
War Eagle = battle cry
Plainsmen = Auburn is on the plains and all students are called this.

apparently we Aggies have Miss Rev and at one time had an abomination Old Sarge. It was a thing of nightmares.
