I mean they will try. But he’s been a legend. Is Bama broken?

Are we going back to pre-Saban Bama?

What does a horseshoe do? Are there any horse socks? Is anyone listening to me?

Did they ever replace the Bear? In the end does it matter? The tide will rise.

I mean when he decides to retire we will have to hire someone else. It isn't rocket science

It’s a tall task to replace a legend. What Saban has accomplished is incredible. Whoever Bama hires has huge shoes to fill.

Cfb is broken. Saban came in and bought a bunch of 5*s that took him on a run. He back doored into NC games a couple times and got to play teams like ND that never deserved to be there and even knocked out star QBs to win.

Now everyone can buy players and the players arent really tied to the team anymore and even if you backdoor in you still have to beat multiple good teams to win a NC. No one will luck into having things aligned like Saban did. With new rules and protocols teams are now having their hands full will bottom level teams.

Worth noting many years before Saban Alabama was an elite team. I’d bet on a regression with eventual resurgence within a decade. If they make a great hire, I could see them continuing to be in the hunt but just not as consistent as under Saban.

Saban had a lot of help from boosters/ bagmen and a good friend running the NCAA turning a blind eye. Those 2 circumstances alone helped him tremendously. I'd be willing to bet almost every college dynasty since the 50/60's has won with that same formula. I know schools like OU had the "slush fund" to pay players many decades ago when they were beating everyone..

I'm not sure if another coach at BAMA or any school can reproduce it now in the NIL/ transfer portal era; it seems like BAMA is already struggling a little now with Saban still there..

With the transfer portal and NIL is Saban even Saban anymore? I don’t think anyone will dominate the way Bama has the last 20 years anymore. UGA has an outside shot but I think even they are gonna hit a wall at some point. The NIL has changed College football landscape forever

Honestly, I’d begin talking with the few worldly Communist Presidents. No one democratically can replace a torrent who has ruled longer than most kings, as in Lord NS.

The answer is no, idealistically. But yes, theoretically, if Alabama wants to participate in the sport of football, he will undoubtedly be replaced. Although, he will be hooked into the program until Hitler takes him underground. Futuristically, RIP
