How many wins do you think we can get?

I still believe we can get 8-9 wins maybe more if everything breaks our way, but I also believe we can skid to 6 or less if things don’t break our way.

I’ll go 8-4.

If Sam can get the Running Backs to move forward rather than dancing, looking for holes to hit.

I'm tired of the dancing also.

Been saying that for years. Before Sam. I believe everyone is looking for the highlight reel run instead of just moving chains. 4-5 a carry isn’t sexy. That 65 yard run with 45 of it behind the line.

I'll have a better answer for you after this weekend.

Step up in competition from previous opponents.

I blame it all on Barry Sanders. For some reason, running backs seem to think they can do the kinds of things that only Sanders has ever done, certainly with any consistency.

I’m not a negative Nancy, but I’m sticking with my preseason prediction of 7-5 (3-5).

OL is a question mark, backs are having difficulty adjusting to a zone vs. gap scheme, and I feel like we’re going to overlook a team or two and drop one we probably shouldn’t (and also win one we probably otherwise shouldn’t).

I don't like the weight gain with rocket even though it is muscle, that can zap the stamina out of you.

Cedric Cobbs got up to 250 but was out of shape and was injury prone.

One year later, he joined the track team and lost 30 pounds. He led the SEC in rushing his senior year.

Same.

I know Pittman and Sowders claim he hasn’t lost speed, but the issue is that he’s not a bruiser back and never really has been. He’s always been a bit of a finesse back who rushes the hole and then bounces outside if it’s not there (Adam Ford’s words), which is the opposite of what you do in a zone scheme like Enos’s.

This was a similar issue with Alex Collins.

I’m fine with putting weight on lineman, but with skill positions you can really change a person.
