Like all universities and all fan bases the reason Bama will have who it wants is because there is no logical way to hire someone you didn't want. It is possible to hire someone who was not your first choice but if you hired someone you didn't want at all youd be the dumbest bastard ever to shite between a pair of brogans....

They need to follow Tennessee’s coach hiring pattern. They may find somebody in 20 years that way.

And they will emerge stronger for their efforts just as UT has done...I think you have exactly the formula for Alabama...one can only hope they are reasonable enough to see the logic in it...

No. Nick Saban has more than earned the privilege to go out on his own terms.

He's in good health and one game does not a season make. But the end won't be too much longer he'll want to take that good health and enjoy retirement and I'll wish him well when he does.

You people want him gone because Alabama is dangerous as long as he is there. Bama will get a good coach when he leaves, too much there to work with and too much money to be made.

Are the? I am not certain they are. I don't know that there is any indication since 2017 that a Saban led Tide is more "dangerous" than any of the top 5 or 6 SEC teams with a competent coaching staff. One could make the argument for 2020 and while what Bama did was impressive the season is definitely one with an asterisk. At any rate Alabama lost 2 conference games last year and by week 2 of the 2023 season has a loss....what Saban and the Tide have done is impressive but it has NO bearing on the present or future...

To UGA- if Alabama's two starting WR were not injured then Alabama wins back to back titles (20-21)

To the rest- the number is 10. Coach Saban wants to tie or break Coach Wooden's NC record at UCLA

Alabama is still recruiting at a high level, has two new coordinators because the previous two did not really coach even with all that talent.

Y'all have a great day

It'll be Urban Meyer. He'll behave himself, this time.

They should hire Freeze. It would give them a great coach and hamstring their biggest rival. Can you imagine the melt?

I suspect Bama will have a Ray Perkins type hire first as no one will want to risk having to follow Saban, then you'll see them hire a big name after the other flounders at 8-4 a couple of years.

That has worked out so well in the past. I can't see why they wouldn't.
