I’m calling it right now, 0-8 in the sec for MSU.
Worst offense, worst playcalling I’ve seen in college football going back 35-40 years.
LSU is going to be ugly next week.
Arnett fired Leachs entire staff to bring this in ?

It’s not too early to bring Deion to Hailstate.
That was absolute pathetic coaching last night. 15 passes all game. Will definitely not make it into SEC play with that offense.

Worst D1 coaching I’ve ever seen, most large school high schools in my area have much more proficient playcalling, discipline and structure. I don’t see how they win a game in the sec ?
So why did Arnett fire Leachs entire staff, burn it all to the ground coming off a 9-4 season with 19 seniors returning ? Insanity

I was at the game
It was a weird and unconventional game. The offense was running through like butter early and we only had short field drives because of the defense.
Will never got comfortable with long passes. He is still checking down on plays even when his WR’s are busting free. He doesn’t trust the O-line on protecting him that is for sure.
Coaching was very terrible in lack of halftime adjustments and our coach admitted this after the game. We kept doing delayed blitzes and they knew where the late guy was breaking often. Their QB was awesome and always threw to the open space on the Blitz.
The play calling in the 2nd half was pathetic especially for 3rd down. We were stopped on 3rd and less than 5 multiple times because they knew Will was uncomfortable and either stacked the run or went after him.
O-line can run block but not pass block
Will needs to learn the timing of the playbook especially for midfield and deep throws
Defense was great but on the field way too long and it showed in the 2nd half.
Thank God we are improved in special teams

That guys screams douche. Sorry State fans, it really sucks that you have that meat head as a coach and you will have have to watch an offense from the 00s.

Am I the only one that just completely disagrees with this? Even State fans.
We struggled with Arizona for 3 quarters last year and pulled away late. We ended up winning 9 games. We won an OT game against a Power 5 non-conference team and fans are bitching that we didn't win by more. The spread was 9. We won by 7.
We weren't going to beat LSU or Alabama at any point.
But South Carolina is beatable.
Arkansas looks bad.
Go pick on Auburn, they almost lost to a really bad Pac 12 team.
We own Aggy.
Kentucky hasn't won in Starkville in 15 years and doesn't look great.
Ole Miss is a rivalry game.

State has pretty much sealed their fate the rest of the season based on staff hires, reall really bad staff hires.

I can assure you we are more than beatable. Our offensive line throws nothing but lookout blocks. It may be a race to the bottom of the SEC.

Will threw the ball 8 times total in the first half. I’d hardly say he was uncomfortable throwing it, he was never given the opportunity.
The problem is this type of offense will never hold up in the sec, but may get us by against inferior teams.

State is a top 25 coaching job, they’re in the SEC and always underrated as a program.
However, Prime is going to a blue blood or nfl for his next gig.

I disagree with the amount of losses and over the top comments but our head coach even admitted they did a shitty job of game planning and adjusting.
The good news is he admits it and is going to work on it.
The bad news is he admits it and we know we have a learning curve in the coaching.
It Will gets comfortable enough to start making half his reads look out.
Going to be fun grindin each week as people lose to the “worst coaching they have ever seen”.
