It’s just annoying to hear someone act like he’s the first black coach with 75% of the team being black to win a football game.

It diminishes the accomplishments of literally every black coach before him. Race bating is already annoying, but to have the audacity to act like he’s the first one to do it, and the media is treating him as such, is a giga-beta move. I know it probably feels good to act like you’re breaking some kind of sociological glass-ceiling during integration from the 1950s, but the act isn’t original and it’s increasingly difficult to watch it and not cringe violently.

Deion has been giving off CRT vibes
Please explain
Critical Theory is predicated on the notion that all relationships are based on power, in particular relationships of oppressed and oppressor. Critical Race Theory applies that concept of oppression to race, where racial minorities are oppressed and racial majorities are oppressors. It sees all things through the lens of race and racial oppression. It’s why strong adherents to this ideology seem to make everything about race and have a victim mentality, blaming all negative or disparate outcomes on racism whether racism is a true factor or not (because it assumes racism).

I’m not saying Deion adheres to CRT. I don’t know him personally and don’t know if he has said publicly that he agrees with that ideology. It just seems that a few recent comments he has made give off CRT vibes to me, as I said.

TCU was severely overrated.
If he was white he'd be forced to resign for being sexist.
He is a racist.
Florida would make Colorado & Deion bite the curb.

Guy wins one game and acts like he’s already won the national championship. His postgame press conference was bizarre, interrupting reporters and asking them “do you believe now?” And then that race baiting nonsense about how it must be threatening to have a black coach with 75% black players. Called the female reporters “baby” and “sweetheart”. Glad Auburn didn’t hire this clown.

Some other SEC team will go after him. Then Auburn and its fans will be crying and/or be scared.

He’ll probably be coaching the Dallas Cowboys within 5 years. Jerry does weird things.

Oh come on, you and your brethren would eat that shite up. Exactly your type. Does he also talk about Jesus at weird times?

Wouldn't it be nice if Alabama hires him after Nick retires?

Not necessarily but illegitimately playing the race card is pathetic and off putting. I imagine most people who play it are racist.

If a White coach went to BYU, and started winning games and talking about how great it was for a White coach to be winning games with a White roster, he'd be roundly condemned and labeled as a White supremacist.

So I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but I have a big issue with the double standard.

Deion is a black supremacist. It's been obvious for a while to anyone who's paid attention to him.

stop it. There is no double standard. Black head coaches are fricking unicorns. Somebody here said Sanders will coach at Auburn or Bama, heck, I wanted him over Napier at UF but we are all fooling ourselves. Ed Orgerons grand son, if he ever has one, or you and I have a better chance of coaching in the SEC than Sanders. The SEC has ZERO black head coaches and only 5 in the 90 year history of the league. It will never happen. The standard ain’t double, it is in plain sight for all to see.

Most folks here can’t even name 2 ex SEC black coaches without looking it up, yet you say Sanders is playing the race card? fricking comical guy.

I know someone who was neighbors with him when Deion played for Atlanta. The guy would go over to his house when he was 12 or so and would play ping pong against him in his garage. When the kid finally beat him, Deion kicked him out of the house.
This made me laugh. Magic Johnson and Larry Bird probably would kick the kid out too. These guys are all obsessed with winning. Maybe he was joking? Some Successful people tend to be narcissists. I think it was pretty cool he took time to play with the kid in the first place.
