Gumps might be staring down the barrel of 7-5. They’re not ready for that. If Milroe starts you’re definitely losing to Texas and LSU. Likely losing to Ole Miss and Tennessee. Could even lose to Auburn or Kentucky.

The dynasty is over.
LSU may beat us 4 times over the next 2 decades now.

Hard to imagine it could get that bad.

They’re losing to LSU whether the play Jalen Milroe or Joe Montana

I think that’s a little absurd. I do think 9-3 is a real possibility. With the talent they have, I still think 8-4 is the absolute worse, and that’s even without having a steady QB and playing musical chairs with their QB’s.

Texas is not winning in Tuscaloosa. I expect Texas to lose by 13 points this year.
LSU- I wouldn’t say LSU is definitely doing anything this year. My honest opinion is that BK isn't ready to travel to Tuscaloosa and that’s why I give Bama the edge here. Think it will be a low scoring game and Bama wins like 20-16.

Ole Miss and UT are toss ups.
Auburn- Iron bowl is one of those games where records can be tossed out the window. But I give Bama the edge here since Auburn is in its first year of the Freeze era.
Kentucky-

They won with McElroy, McCarron, Sims and Coker at QB. When Blake Barnett was named starter and struggled in game 1, a true freshman named Jalen Hurts stole the job, won SEC OPY and took them to the championship game. When Hurts was ineffective against UGA in the Natty, a true freshman named Tua came in and won it for them. When Tua got hurt in the SECCG, Hurts came back and won it for them. When Tua left, the dynasty was over because a 3 star career bench warmer named McCorkle Jones was going to start...he won the Natty and turned into a first round pick.
Frankly I'm not shouting from the rooftops that the end is nigh for Alabama football. They've got 3 options... a freak athlete who can absolutely burn you with his legs, a 5 star top recruit or an experienced starter in line with the McElroy, McCarron and Coker types who doesn't impress in anyway but manages to not frick the game up. One of them will work out.

I like the part about Ole Miss and UT in Tuscaloosa being “toss ups”.
If only I could find an actual sports book that felt that way.

Yes I have them as toss ups. Ole Miss and UT will be the best offenses that Bama will face all year. If Bama’s gets down 21-7 like last year when they played UT, can Milroe bring them back? That’s why I have it toss ups.

2 in a row seems like a good start. That team you said would go 6-6 last season beat you with Heisman trophy winning QB.

Yeah. You better he's not the second coming of Blake Sims or ... cough... Jake Coker.

Recent history being 2-2 in the last 4 and 1-0 for CBK, I think I'll take the over.
